SOALAN: Sejak kebelakangan ini, pergaduhan sering berlaku dalam rumah tangga. Saya cukup meluat dan benci melihat suami dan rasa lega apabila dia keluar rumah. Apabila ada masalah biarpun sedikit, saya seumpama terdorong meninggikan suara. Saya rasa macam ada desakan supaya saya meminta cerai dan lidah saya pernah terpacul meminta cerai, biarpun bukan kehendak saya. Saya baru enam bulan berkahwin dan menyayanginya. Adakah sakit yang saya alami ini berlaku pada orang lain?

Jawapan: Lumrahnya, tempoh berkahwin enam bulan adalah waktu pasangan berbulan madu. Kalau boleh tak mahu berpisah, biarpun sekejap.

Namun puan bermasalah. Meluat tengok suami, rasa lega apabila dia keluar rumah. Ini bererti bahawa puan tidak dapat menikmati atau menghayati matlamat perkahwinan yang sebenar, iaitu hidup berkasih sayang, tenang dan rukun damai.

Puan perlu faham, setiap sesuatu yang berlaku di luar kebiasaan pasti ada puncanya. Menurut Umar Sulaiman (1985:75-75), di antara cara atau kaedah iblis syaitan menyesatkan manusia ialah dengan mengajar ilmu sihir kepada manusia. Ilmu inilah yang digunakan untuk memisahkan pasangan suami isteri. Perpisahan ini merupakan tumpuan iblis dan syaitan.

Menurut Wahid Abdul Salam Bali (1412H:57), pelanggan akan menemui tukang sihir dan meminta daripadanya agar ia memisahkan pasangan tertentu.

Tukang sihir akan meminta daripadanya nama lelaki yang hendak disihirnya, berserta nama ibunya, kemudian dia akan meminta sesuatu benda, seperti rambut, baju, songkok dan sebagainya.

Sekiranya bahan-bahan yang diperlukan itu tidak didapati, tukang sihir berkenaan akan melakukan sihir dengan menggunakan kalimah-kalimah sihir dan disuruh agar air yang dijampi tadi dituang di tempat laluannya, menyebabkannya terkena sihir apabila dia melangkahnya. Bahan air tadi boleh juga dimasukkan dalam makanan atau minuman.

Dalam masyarakat Melayu, tukang-tukang sihir selalunya akan meminta nama pasangan yang terlibat berserta nama ibu masing-masing, juga bahan-bahan tertentu, seperti gambar, baju, kain, seluar dalam atau apa jenis pakaian yang telah dipakai.

Sekiranya bahan tadi tidak diperoleh oleh orang yang mempunyai hajat, kemungkinan tukang sihir tadi menyuruh jin yang mendampinginya, mengambil bahan-bahan tadi.

Terdapat keterangan daripada hadis-hadis menunjukkan bahawa jin-jin memang ada yang mencuri bahan-bahan tertentu, kepunyaan manusia.

Dalam sebuah hadis daripada Buraidah, dia telah berkata: Aku mempunyai makanan. Maka aku dapati akan dia berkurangan. Lalu aku hendap pada waktu malam. Aku dapati ada lembaga padanya, lalu tangkap akan dia. Aku berkata: Aku tidak akan melepaskan dikau hingga aku bawa engkau kepada nabi.

Lembaga tadi berkata: Sesungguhnya aku ini seorang perempuan yang banyak keluarga. Aku tidak akan datang lagi.

Begitulah yang dilakukan oleh lembaga tadi buat kali kedua dan ketiga. Tiap kali datang aku tangkap. Akhirnya lembaga tadi berkata: Lepaskan daku... aku akan ajarkan dikau sesuatu apabila engkau baca akan dia nescaya salah satu daripada golongan kami tidak menghampiri barang-barang engkau.

Apabila engkau baring di atas tempat tidur bacalah untuk diri dan harta kau ayat al-Kursi. Aku telah memberitahu nabi, baginda telah berkata: Benarlah... walaupun dia pembohong.

Hadis ini menjelaskan bahawa bukan mustahil makhluk jin-jin itu mencuri sesuatu kepunyaan manusia, yang melibatkan objek tertentu. Dalam kes yang dijelaskan di atas, jin perempuan ini mencuri buah kurma untuk keperluan anaknya.

Manusia yang berilmu, yang diberi kekuatan Allah, berupaya menangkap jin. Bermaksud bahawa manusia yang tidak berilmu, yang tidak diberi kekuatan oleh Allah, biarpun mereka termasuk dalam golongan khalifah di muka bumi, tidak berupaya berbuat demikian. Sebaliknya makhluk ini akan ditangkap, diganggu, ditipu dan ditakluki oleh jin-jin.

Istinbat atau pengajaran hadis ini juga memperlihatkan bahawa ayat al-Kursi itu mempunyai fadilat istimewa dalam usaha menangani atau mengatasi masalah yang berkaitan dengan gangguan jin-jin.

Dengan berbuat demikian, Allah akan menyelamatkan diri mereka yang mengamalkan atau membaca ayat al-Kursi, juga harta benda daripada gangguan dicuri oleh jin-jin. Itulah di antara rahsia bagaimana hendak mengatasi masalah yang berkaitan dengan jin-jin. Rahsia yang didedahkan sendiri oleh makhluk jin.

Akhir sekali baginda memberi peringatan bahawa biarpun apa yang dikatakan oleh jin mengenai ayat al-Kursi itu benar, namun makhluk jin itu, iaitu iblis dan syaitan adalah makhluk pembohong.

Menurut Wahid Abdul Salam (142H: 55-57) sihir jenis ini juga boleh memisahkan anak dengan ibu, anak dengan bapa, adik-beradik, di antara teman, rakan syarikat perniagaan dan lain-lainnya. Perpisahan di antara pasangan suami isteri paling bahaya dan banyak berlaku.

Sihir jenis ini boleh menyebabkan timbulnya rasa benci yang bersangatan dengan tiba-tiba, berlaku syak-wasangka tidak boleh bertolak ansur, menyebabkan berlakunya perselisihan faham biarpun atas sebab-sebab yang kecil.

Sihir juga menyebabkan berlakunya perubahan rupa suami pada mata isteri atau sebaliknya. Suami akan melihat isterinya dengan pandangan yang menyakitkan hati lagi hodoh. Biarpun isterinya cantik.

Hal demikian berlaku kerana iblis yang terlibat dengan sihir itu mengubahkan rupa si isteri menjadi buruk dan menimbulkan rasa benci pada suami. Isteri ada kalanya melihat wajah suaminya dengan pandangan yang menakutkan.

Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir dalam Tafsir Ibn Kathir (1:44) menjelaskan bahawa perceraian suami isteri boleh berlaku akibat sihir menyebabkan setiap pihak melihat pasangannya dengan pandangan yang buruk, atau lain-lain punca yang mendatang yang boleh menyebabkan berlakunya perceraian.

Menurut seorang responden, salah satu kaedah untuk memisahkan pasangan suami isteri ialah dengan menggunakan tahi besi .

Bahan ini telah siap dibungkus untuk dijual. Setelah dibacakan mantera pembenci, bahan tersebut ditabur di tempat laluan pasangan yang terlibat, seperti di jalan masuk rumah, di depan tangga dan sebagainya.

Tukang sihir memerintahkan jin-jin yang mendampinginya agar merasuk otak mereka yang melangkahi bahan tadi menyebabkan timbulnya rasa tidak tenteram, gelisah dan rasa benci-membenci.

Tahi besi digunakan untuk tujuan ini kerana ia diperoleh daripada bahan besi yang dibakar. Sempena daripadanya, betapa panas besi yang menyebabkan terjadinya tahi besi, maka begitulah panas, rasa gelisah dan tidak tenteram berlaku ke atas mereka yang melangkah tahi besi yang dijampi puja tadi.

Nama ibu perlu disebut jelas kerana tidak mahu sihir yang ditujukan kepada individu tertentu itu tersalah sasaran. Nama bapa tersebut tidak semestinya membuktikan bahawa orang berkenaan benar-benar anak kepada nama lelaki (bapa) yang disebut tadi, mungkin dia hanya anak angkat.

Sebutan nama disertakan dengan nama ibu adalah lebih tepat atau pasti kerana orang yang berkenaan tidak kira sama ada lelaki ataupun perempuan lahir daripada perut ibu.

Individu yang mempunyai kekuatan roh yang sentiasa mendampingkan diri kepada Allah dan dikasihi oleh-Nya akan terselamat daripada gangguan iblis dan syaitan. Begitulah Allah melindungi kekasih-Nya.

Wahid Abdul Salam Bali (1412H: 59) menceritakan kisah seorang perempuan yang terlalu membenci suaminya akibat sihir. Ia berasa begitu lemas dan resah ketika berada di rumah.

Pasangan ini menemui seorang perawat yang menggunakan ayat-ayat al-Quran. Jin yang meresap dalam tubuhnya mengakui, yang ia datang dengan perantaraan sihir, untuk memisahkan pasangan ini.

Perawat telah memukulnya banyak kali, tetapi tidak memberi kesan, ia telah berulang alik untuk mendapatkan rawatan selama sebulan di mana akhirnya jin tersebut meminta agar ia menceraikan dengan talak satu, kemudian merujuk semula.

Perempuan berkenaan telah sembuh selama seminggu, tetapi sakit semula, lalu mereka menemui penulis yang juga perawat yang menggunakan ayat al-Quran. Ketika dirawat, perempuan tersebut telah menjerit yang akhirnya berlaku dialog di antara kedua-dua belah pihak.

Jin tersebut memberitahu namanya Syaqwan, beragama Nasrani. Ia masuk dalam tubuh si isteri untuk memisahkannya dengan suaminya. Perawat mencadangkan agar jin itu memeluk Islam seandainya ia mahu dan ia tidak dipaksa.

Jin tersebut pada mulanya enggan keluar daripada tubuh mangsa dan memberitahu agar ia jangan menyusahkan diri kerana pesakit telah dibawa menemui ramai perawat, tetapi tidak berjaya.

Setelah berlaku perbahasan dan perbincangan yang panjang, jin tersebut akhirnya memeluk Islam. Perawat bertanya sama ada jin tersebut memeluk Islam sepenuh hatinya, ataupun semata-mata untuk menipunya. Jin tadi menjawab, bahawa ia tidak berkuasa memaksanya memeluk Islam.

Ia memeluk Islam dengan sepenuh hati. Tetapi ia menyatakan bahawa ia sedang melihat satu kumpulan jin Nasrani mengancamnya dan menakut-nakutkan untuk membunuhnya.

Perawat menyatakan untuk mengatasi perkara seumpama ini adalah mudah. Andainya ia telah memeluk Islam dengan jujur sepenuh hati, ia akan diberi senjata yang kuat, di mana tidak ada sesiapa pun yang berupaya menghampirinya. Jin tersebut telah meminta senjata yang dimaksudkan ketika itu juga, tetapi tidak diberi, kecuali setelah ia menjauhkan diri daripada melakukan kezaliman dan keluar daripada tubuh perempuan tadi.

Jin tersebut mengaku yang ia telah memeluk Islam, tetapi tidak berupaya melepaskan diri daripada tukang sihir. Menurut perawat, adalah mudah untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, asalkan ia mahu memberitahu di mana bahan-bahan sihir itu diletakkan.

Jin memberitahu bahawa bahan tersebut ditanam di bawah rumah tempat perempuan itu tinggal, tetapi ia tidak pasti di mana ia ditanam kerana di tempat tersebut adalah jin lain menjaga bahan-bahan sihir tadi.

Apabila bahan-bahan yang ditanam tadi diketahui oleh manusia, jin tadi akan memindahkannya ke tempat lain.

Ketika ditanya lebih lanjut, jin berkenaan mengakui telah melakukan sihir selama 10 atau 20 tahun, tetapi ia kurang pasti. Sebelum itu ia telah merasuk tiga orang perempuan. Syeikh Abdul Wahid telah memberi senjata kepada jin itu dengan menyuruhnya membaca ayat al-Kursi.

Setiap kali kumpulan jin itu hendak mendekatinya, ia hendaklah membaca ayat berkenaan. Untuk melepaskan diri daripada tukang sihir, ia disuruh agar keluar daripada tubuh perempuan dan segera ke Mekah tinggal bersama jin-jin Islam di Masjidilharam.

Jin ini masih tidak pasti bahawa Allah akan mengampunkan dosa-dosanya kerana terlalu banyak melakukan maksiat. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Penyayang (az-zumar: 53).

Mendengarkan ayat al-Quran yang dibacakan itu, jin tadi menangis teresak-esak dan meminta agar perempuan yang dirasuknya itu memaafkannya apabila ia pergi nanti, lalu ia keluar daripada tubuh mangsanya. Beberapa hari selepas peristiwa itu, si suami datang menyatakan semuanya telah pulih seperti sedia kala dengan kehendak Allah.

Lagilah aneh bila di fikir,
Baju kebaya tudung berukir,
Nampak dada iman terjungkir,
Kain terbelah peha terukir.

Bila ditanya kenapa begitu,
Dia kata fesyennya dah macam tu,
Di dalam hati niat tertentu,
Menggoda jantan sudahlah tentu.

Menutup aurat boleh berfesyen,
Tetapi jangan menunjuk eksyen,
Sesuaikan diri ikut profesyen,
Kalau dilaknat tak guna sesen.

Kalau nak “Make Up” biarlah padan,
Jangan terlebih bila berdandan,
Minyak wangi cuba elakkan,
Bedak dan gincu sekadar keperluan.

Kasut tinggi cuba jauhi,
Kerana ia melahirkan bunyi,
Boleh menarik perhatian lelaki,
Perbuatan ini dibenci Ilahi.

Apatah lagi menghentakkan kaki,
Menarik perhatian orang laki-laki,

Hajj: Getting Ready (Folder)

Hajj is a lifetime journey for which the faithful hearts are longing. Indeed, it is a great favor Almighty Allah has bestowed upon His servants so that they can draw closer to Him and have their sins —no matter how numerous and grave they may be— forgiven. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said,

"He who performs Hajj without speaking or committing indecencies (abstains from sensual and sinful acts) will return as free of sins as he was on the day when his mother gave birth to him." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Although the performance of Hajj requires physical and financial ability, most, if not all, Muslims wholeheartedly wish to perform it and visit the sacred places, even if they are exempted from this obligation due to their limited means or weak bodies. It is indeed a beloved obligation.

However, before embarking on a long journey, proper preparations and provisions should be in place. Prospective pilgrims, therefore, need to get prepared —spiritually, financially, physically, and mentally— for their blessed journey. They have to turn over a new leaf with their Lord, repenting sincerely to Him, and pledging to be true believers whose sole aim in this world is to please their Creator. This new beginning should also include their relationship with their spouses, relatives, neighbors, fellow Muslims, and all people in general. It is by preparing adequately for this obligation and by performing it properly and sincerely that the pilgrim can wish that his or her Hajj be accepted by Almighty Allah.

Ia mula melanda..

Assalamualaikum

Saat saya menulis ni , sekolah dihujani dengan kebimbangan terhadap H1N1... seorang pelajar positifnya.. kalut satu sekolah... terpaksa ambil langkah berhati2 terhadap wabak penyakit ini...seperti halilintar kecil membelah sehingga berlaku kegusaran di hati2 manusia..

Beginilah kita...

Akan bimbang jika ujian dan kesan buruk dr sesuatu penyakit jelas pada mata kasar kita.. sedang ALLAH SWT dalam Al Quran banyak sekali menerangkan kesan bagi manusia yang lalai.."mereka ada hati tapi tidak memerhati.. ada telinga tapi tidak mahu mendengar.. ada mata tapi tidak menggunakannya untuk melihat".. Masya ALLAH..

Kita tidak bimbang..

ya.. kita tidak cemas pun wabak tidak menutup aurat berleluasa hari ini, wabak tidak hiraukan anak perempuan keluar tanpa muhrim juga berlambak, wabak lari daripada berpegang kepada Al Quran dan As Sunnah juga meresap dalam jiwa2 masyarakat Islam, Wabak dan lambakan makanan haram dan was2 di kedai2 runcit semakin melebar..

Ohh,

Tak terbayang banyakknya wabak-wabak pada masa sekarang... Oleh itu .. kita diuji.. diperingatkan dengan wabak jugak... yang sekarang ini menjadi kekalutan.. sedarlah duhai insan... ALLAH mahu mengingatkan manusia bahawa mereka adalah makhluk.. dan setiap makhluk pasti akan lupus dr alam ini.. sehingga ALLAH bangkitkan kembali di Akhirat yang x bertepian..

Sejauh mana kita..

Amalan kita boleh dikira dengan jari kurniaan ALLAH, dosa pula x terhitung walau habis habis dakwatsebatang pena.. Inikah "Zaad" yang kita akan bawa pada hari perhitungan kelak??

Dalam ramadhan kita puasa,
Dalam puasa kita terdidik,
Kenapa kita ini membuang masa?
Nak suruh malaikat datang herdik?

Kat dunia ni banyak kuman,
Sampai manusia tak boleh kesan,
Insaflah aku dan kawan-kawan,
Semoga kita menjadi insan.

Dalam ramadhan ada lailatul qadar,
Dalam qadar ada impian,
Buat baik jangan ala kadar,
Takut nanti tak kesampaian.

So…selamat bertemu malam 1000 bulan !

Hari-hari ke pasar ramadhan,
Malam pula pergi ke masjid
Dah ke kita ada penyesalan
Dan bila pula jiwa nak bertahmid?

Hari-hari pijak bumi,
Di atas kita ada langit
Nak ke mana kita hidup ini
Adakah kita terasa pahit ?

Hari-hari kita tidur,
Ada juga orang berjaga
Dimanakah hakikat konsep an-Nur?
Didalam dirikah atau didalam hati yang fana?

Hari-hari kita bertutur
Untung juga bagi yang bisu
Adakah kita sudah mengatur
Untuk masa kita yang akan meluru?

Hari-hari kita dihidupkan,
Ada juga yang terus 'padam'
Adakah diri ada kesempurnaan
Sampai tak nak naik 'maqam' ?

Hari-hari kita manusia
Alhamdulillah tak jadi binatang
Hidup disini jangan sia-sia
Kerana didepan kita perjalanan luas terbentang.

Wujud Allah wujud Muhammad
Wajib beriman dengan keduanya
Pastikan jalan hidup yang muktamad

Harap-harap lepas ni kita berjasa
Buang perangai yang merapu

Gerhana bulan gerhana matahari
Komet nak lalu tak lama lagi

Ibadat

Once Prophet Mohammad(SAW) was sitting with his companions. He asked them, "Is there any one amongst you who prays the whole night daily, who keeps thirty fasts every month and who completes recitation of one whole Quran daily"?

There were many pious men amongst the companions but none of them were doing so much Ibadat, so they all kept quiet.

Suddenly Hazrat Salman Farsi(AS) got up and said, "I do all these Ibadats".

Some of the companions looked unbelievingly at him and said,"Ya Rasoolallah(SAW) we have seen Salman(AS) sleeping some part of the night, we have seen him eating during the day and we have seen him busy with other works so it is not possible for him to recite a whole Quran daily". The Prophet(SAW) smiled and told Hazrat Salman (AS) to explain his claim.

Hazrat Salman(AS) said, "you have told us who ever goes to bed with wudu is as if the whole night he has spent in Ibadat, I keep three fasts every month and Quran says that every good deed gets ten rewards, so that becomes thirty fasts, reciting Surah Ikhlas once is equal to one-third of Quran, I recite it thrice daily."

The Blind Worm

Prophet Sulayman (A.S.) was sitting by the seashore when he saw an ant carrying a grain going towards the water. He watched as a frog appeared, opened its mouth and as the ant approached and entered its mouth. The frog dived into the waters. Prophet Sulayman (A.S.) was reflecting on what he had just seen when he saw the frog reappear. It opened its mouth and the ant walked out without the grain. Prophet Sulayman (A.S.) called her and asked her where she had been.

She said, " Ya Nabiyallah! In the bottom of the sea is a hollow rock where lives a blind worm. Allah assigned me the task of carrying its food. The frog is assigned the task of carrying me so the water does not harm me."

Prophet Sulayman (A.S.) asked her, "Do you ever hear the worm praise Allah?"

The ant replied, "Yes." The worm says, "O one who does not forget me in the depth of this rock, in the midst of this water, I plead to You by Your sustaining me not to forget Your believing "Ibaad" (plural of abd) and to include them in Your Mercy."

Subhanallah.....Allah truly works in mysterious way.......When a worm, a blind one, amidst deep waters is praising the Almighty, All-Giving Allah [s.w.t.], I can simply say that calculators or even computers are NOT the machines to be used to estimate or even guess how much WE, blessed humans should be praising and thanking Allah [s.w.t.]. Let us all pray to Allah [s.w.t.] and make a firm intention (right now!) to sincerely thank Him each and every day till we leave this materialistic world. May Allah give us the tawfiq to follow the true and the correct Islam.

Perfect Heart

One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley. A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes, they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart.

Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, "Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine." The crowd and the young man looked at the old man's heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn't fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing. The people stared -- how can he say his heart is more beautiful, they thought?

The young man looked at the old man's heart and saw its state and laughed. "You must be joking," he said. "Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears." "Yes," said the old man, "yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love - I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren't exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared.

Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn't returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges -- giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?"

The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks. He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands. The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man's heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges. The young man looked at his heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man's heart flowed into his. They embraced and walked away side by side.

Service to Mother

In Bani Israil, there was a man called Jurayh. He spent most of his time in devotion to Allah. One day, he was busy as ever, in his prayers, when his mother called him. But, because, he was saying salat, he could not respond to her. She went back. A little later, she came back and called him again. He was still at prayer and could not answer. She came a third time, and called him. He did not answer, and began his salat. She was angry and said, "I wish that Allah would call him to account for his attitude.

On the following day, a harlot came into the chamber where Jurayh said his prayers, and bore a child, and claimed that he had committed fornication with her, and he was the father of the child she had given birth to.

When the king heard this, he ordered the execution of Jurayh. This alarmed his mother, and she went crying before the king. Jurayh said to her, "Mother, it is your curses that have brought on me this penalty. Some other people also heard the story, and they investigated the matter. Jurayh told them the whole story. They asked him if he could prove the truth of his statement. He said, "Yes, bring that child." They brought that child before Jurayh. Jurayh asked him, "Whose son are you? ". The infant was given the power of speech, and he spoke up: "I am the son of so and so who grazes the sheep of so and so."

Jurayh was released and vowed that he would serve his mother as long as he was alive.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups cooked rice

3 big garlic flakes (crushed and chopped)

1 large onion (diced)

½ cup cooked prawns

Spring onion (cut into 1-inch pieces)

1 egg

2 medium-sized tomatoes (sliced)

2 tbsp oil

½ tsp sugar fish sauce or salt to taste

METHOD

Heat the oil, add garlic and sautÃ© for a few minutes. Then add the onion, tomatoes, half of the spring onions and prawns and sautÃ© for two more minutes. Add sugar and fish sauce or salt. Now add the egg; don't scramble immediately, wait till it sets, then scramble and sautÃ©. Add the rice; sautÃ© and mix properly. Finally add the remaining spring onions and remove from fire. Note: Ingredients special to the Thai cuisine such as fish sauce, galangal (a plant of the ginger family), lime and kaffir leaves are easily available in all leading supermarkets.

Selain menggunakan jenama cap Masjid, nama teh tersebut pun menggambarkan seperti ia adalah keluaran orang Islam iaitu dengan perkataan "Guru" iaitu Teh Guru Cap Masjid

Selain dari mengelirukan dari aspek penjenamaan, syarikat tersebut juga cuba menipu dengan menggunakan pewarna.

Umat Islam lambat sangat nak keluarkan produk sendiri sehingga bangsa lain mengambil kesempatan kerana prospek benefit yang diaorang dah nampak. Rakyat beragama Islam di Malaysia adalah yang tertinggi dan semestinya mempunyai permintaan yang tinggi juga terutama bab makanan.

Teh Wangi Ros Sdn. Bhd. yang beralamat di No 371, Jalan 20, Taman Ehsan Jaya, Batu Caves dekat sini didakwa melanggar Peraturan 260(3) Peraturan-Peraturan Makanan 1985 kerana serbuk teh tidak boleh menggunakan apa-apa bahan pewarna.

Mengikut dakwaan, dua pegawai penguat kuasa Jabatan Kesihatan dari Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah Gombak membuat pemeriksaan ke premis kilang dan mengambil dua sampel iaitu Teh Guru Cap Masjid dan Teh Guru Cap Masjid (pek baru).

Pengurus syarikat, Lee Chooi Moi, 40, yang hadir membuat pengakuan tidak bersalah memohon masa perbicaraan untuk melantik peguam.

Entah berapa banyak lagi agaknya jenama yang seakan kemelayuan dan keislaman tetapi sebenarnya adalah kepunyaan orang bukan Islam di Malaysia.

Sifat of Sayyidina Rasulullah

Mercy to all mankind
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was asked to curse the infidels. He said, "I have not been sent to curse people but as a mercy to all mankind." (Muslim)

Mother of faithful believers Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that she once asked the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him): 'Did you face a day severer than the day of the battle of Uhud? 'He answered: 'Yes I have experienced such things at the hands of your people and such a day was the day of Aqabah. On this day I presented myself to Abdi lail bin Abd Kulal and offered him Islam, but he failed to make any responce to what I had offered to him. I therefore, left with a heavy heart and depressed. I felt some relieft only when I reached Qarn Sa'alib. Here I looked up and saw a cloud covering me. In this cloud I saw Angel Jibril (peace be upon him) who called me and said: Allah, the Most High, has heard what your people have said to you and the response to your offer. Allah has now sent the Angel of the Mountains to you to carry out your orders to do what you might like to be done to them. Then the Angel of the Mountains addressed me greeting with Salam and then said: 'Muhammad! Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted) has heard what your people have said to you. I am the Angel of the Mountains and my Lord has sent me to you to carry out your orders. What do you want now to be done? If you like I may crush them between the two mountains encircling the city of Makka. The Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) replied: (I do not want their destruction) I am still hopeful that Allah will make some of their children (good Muslims) who would worship Allah, the One, without associating anybody with Him. (Bukhari and Muslim).

His forgiveness
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a Jewess came to Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) with poisoned mutton and he took of what had been brought to him. (When the effect of his poison were felt by him) he called for her and asked her about that, whereupon she said: I had determined to kill you. Thereupon he said: Allah will never give you the power to do it. He (the narrator) said that they (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Should we not kill her? Thereupon he said: No. He (Anas) said: I felt (the effects of this poison) on the uvula of Allah's Messenger. (Muslim)

It has been narrated on the authority of Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that eighty persons from the inhabitants of Makka swooped down upon Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) from the mountain of Tan'im. They were armed and wanted to attack the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and his Companions unawares. He (the Holy Prophet) captured them but spared their lives. So, Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted) revealed the verse: "And It is He Who restrained your hands from them and their hands from you in the valley of Makkah after He had given you a victory over them." (48:24) (Muslim)

His trust in Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted)
It has been narrated on the autority of Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that, on the Day of Hunain, Umm Sulaim took out a dagger she had in her possession. Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) saw her and said: Messenger of Allah, this is Umm Sulaim. She is holding a dagger. Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) asked (her): What for are you holding that dagger? She said: I took it up so that I may tear open the belly of a polytheist who comes near me. Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) began to smile (at those words). She said: Messenger of Allah, kill all those people-other than us- whom thou hast declared to be free (on the day of the Conquest of Makka). (They embraced Islam because) they were defeated at your hands (and as such their Islam is not dependable). Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said: Umm Sulaim, Allah is sufficient (against the mischief of the polytheists) and He will be kind to us (so you need not carry this dagger). (Muslim)

He fought only for Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted)
Mother of faithful believers, Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) never struck anybody with his hand, neither a servant nor a women, but he did fight (jihad) in the cause of Allah. He never avenged any wrong done to him personally, but he did avenge a wrong violating divine commandments.

Closer to the believers than their ownselves
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said that a man who had died in debt would be brought to Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and he would ask whether he had left anything to discharge his debt. If he was told that he had left enough he would pray, otherwise he would tell the Muslims to pray over their friend. But when Allah (The Glorified and the Exalted) wrought the conquests at his hands he stood up and said, "I am closer to the believers than their own selves,* so if any of the believers dies leaving a debt I shall be responsible for paying it, and if anyone leaves property it goes to his heirs." (Bukhari and Muslim)

He prayed for the leader of the Munafiqeen (Hypocrites)
Narrated Hazrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): When 'Abdullah bin 'Ubai died, his son 'Abdullah came to Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and asked him to give him his shirt in order to shroud his father in it. He gave it to him and then 'Abdullah asked the Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) to offer the funeral prayer for him (his father). Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) got up to offer the funeral prayer for him, Sayyidina 'Umar got up too and got hold of the garment of Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and said, "O Allah's Messenger! Will you offer the funeral prayer for him though your Lord has forbidden you to offer the prayer for him?" Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said, "But Allah has given me the choice by saying:-

'Whether you ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them; even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times....' (9:80)

So I will ask more than seventy times." Sayyidina 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "But he (Abdullah bin 'Ubai) is a hypocrite!" However, Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) did offer the funeral prayer for him whereupon Allah revealed:-

'And never (O Muhammad) pray for anyone of them that dies, nor stand at his grave.' (9:84) * (Bukhari)

*The complete verse is: "And never (O Muhammad) pray for anyone of them that dies nor stand at his grave. Lo! they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and they died while they were evil-doers." (9:84)

His gentleness
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: While we were in the mosque with Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) a desert Arab came and began to pass water in the mosque. The companions of Allah's Messenger said, "Stop! Stop!" but Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said, "Don't interrupt him; leave him alone." They left him alone, and when he had finished, Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) called him and said to him, "These mosques are not suitable places for urine and filth, but are only for remembrance of Allah, prayer and recitation of the Qur'an," or however Allah's Messenger expressed it.* Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that he then gave orders to one of the people who brought a bucket and poured water over it. (Bukhari and Muslim)

His concern for the people
Hazrat Abu Qatadah Haris Ibn Rib'i (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said: I stand up for Prayer [Salat] intending to prolong it. In the meantime I hear the wailing of a baby and I have to shorten my prayer, being apprehensive lest my recitation of a long verse may tell upon the baby's mother. (Bukhari)

He established rights for animals
Narrated Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said, "One of the rights is that she camels should be milked at places of water." (Bukhari)

His tender heart
Nazrat Abdallah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports as follows:- Once the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) asked me to recite the Qur'an to him. I said: "O Messenger of Allah! The Holy Qur'an has been revealed to you and you ask me to recite it to you!" "It is my wish, " he said, "that I hear it from some other person". So I began to recite, beginning from the Sura an-Nisa, and when I reached this verse: "But how (will it be with them) when, We bring of every people a witness, and We bring thee (O Muhammad) a witness against these," (4:41). I chanced to glance at his auspicious face and saw that tears were rolling down from his eyes. (Tirmidhi)

He was the bravest of men
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was the sublimest among people (in character) and the most generous amongst them and he was the bravest of men. One night people of Madina felt disturbed and set forth in the direction of a sound when Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) met them on his way back as he had gone towards that sound ahead of them. He was on the horse of Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) which had no sadle over it, and a sword was slung round his neck, and he was saying: There was nothing to be afraid of, and he also said: We found it (this horse) like a torrent of water (indicating its swiftfootedness), whereas the horse had been slow before that time. (Muslim)

His generosity
Hazrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was the most generous of people in charity, but he was generous to the utmost in the month of Ramadhan. Hazat Jibril (peace be upon him) would meet him every year during the month of Ramadhan until it ended, and Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) recited to him the Qur'an; and when Jibril (peace be upon him) met him, Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was most generous in giving charity like the blowing wind. (Muslim)

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a person requested Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) to give him a very large flock (of sheep) and he gave that to him. He came to his tribe and said: O people, embrace Islam. By Allah, Muhammad donates so much as if he did not fear want. Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the person embraced Islam for the sake of the world but later he became Muslim until Islam became dearer to him than the world and what it contains. (Muslim)

He did not take sadaqah
Hazrat Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that when the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) emigrated to Madina, Hazrat Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) brought a tray full of fresh dates and offered it to him. He asked , "What is this?" Hazrat Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "It is a sacrifice (sadaqah) for you and your Companions." He said: "We do not eat sadaqah". On the second day too Hazrat Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) came with a tray of dates and said: "These dates are a gift." Then the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and the Companions ate of those dates. Thereafter Hazrat Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) saw the Seal of Prophethood (in between his shoulders) and embraced Islam. (Tirmidhi)

His true nature
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was presented two cups at Bait al-Maqdis on the night of the Heavenly Journey, one containing wine and the other containing milk. He looked at both of them, and he took the one containing milk, whereupon Hazrat Jibril (peace be upon him) said: Praise is due to Allah Who guided you to the true nature; had you taken the one containing wine, your Umma would have gone astray. (Muslim)

He did not speak to please but always said the truth
Hazrat 'Amr ibn al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) in his special talk, used to pay attention even to the worst man in the community with a view to win his heart. "Towards me also," states Hazrat 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with him), "he used to pay much attention, addressing me more than he did others, wherefore I began to think that I was the best man in the community. So under this impression, one day I asked him: "Am I superior or Hazrat Umar?" He said, 'Umar'. Again I asked him clearly, he told me correctly, without fear or favour, and later on I thought I should not have asked him such things." (Tirmidhi)

His manners
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "The Holy Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) had the best manners among all the human beings" (Bukhari and Muslim)

He would take permission from a small boy
Hazrat Sahl bin Sa'd Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that milk was brought to the Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him). He drank it. On his right was a boy and on the left elderly persons. He said to the boy: If you permit, I shall give first to these (on the left). The boy said: No, by Lord, Messenger of Allah, I do not want to let anyone have my share of what is left from your lips. Allah's Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) then gave it first to him. (Malik)

His left over food a healing
Hazrat Abu Omamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that a woman used to rattle on ceaselessly and unrestrained. She came to the Holy Prophet's (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) presence. He was eating mutton at that time and so he gave her a piece of it. The woman asked him to give her that piece which was in his auspicious mouth. So he took it out and gave it to her. She ate it up, whereby she became alright, her tongue became controllable and she ceased to run off at the mouth and lather. (Tirmidhi)

His saliva a healing
Narrated Yazid bin Abi 'Ubaid: I saw the trace of a wound in Hazrat Salama's (may Allah be pleased with him) leg. I said to him, O Abu Muslim! What is this wound?" He said, "This was inflicted on me on the day of Khaibar and the people said, "Salama has been wounded.' Then I went to the Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and he puffed his saliva in it (i.e. the wound) thrice, and since then I have not had any pain in it till this hour." (Bukhari)

Satan cannot imitate him
Hazrat Abdallah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports the Prophetic statement that,"He who saw me in dream, he saw me really, for Satan cannot make his face like mine." (Tirmidhi)

His exalted position
Narrated Hazrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): On the Day of Resurrection the people will fall on their knees and every nation will follow their prophet and they will say, "O so-and-so! Intercede (for us with Allah), "till (the right) intercession is given to Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and that will be the day when Allah will raise him to a station of praise and glory (i.e. Al-Maqam -al-Mahmud). (Bukhari)

The merit of his Ziyara
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that Rasulullah (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said: Whoever visits my grave, my intercession becomes obligatory for him." (Dar-Qutni)

The haunting sound of animal wailing fills the air.

Dogs are crammed so tightly together into tiny metal cages they cannot even bark. Yards away the blood-spattered carcasses of others lie on the ground.

This is Three Birds' Market in Guangzhou, China, officially described as a poultry market.

But, as these exclusive pictures show, many traders on the 60-acre site are doing brisk business selling dogs and cats to restaurants for slaughter and human consumption.

Cages crammed with cats lie around the new market in Guangzhou, China

It is replacement for the Xinyuan animal market in the same city, closed down last year after international outrage over its treatment of animals and a possible link to the SARS virus.

But the brutality has not gone away. The new £33 million market opened at the end of last year and so far 900 businesses are renting space.

Cages of dogs and cats - some of them bred as domestic pets - are piled high and when an animal is chosen for sale it is bludgeoned with an iron bar until it is close to death before, being handed over to the purchaser.

"The customers want fresh 'live' meat," said Huang Lu Sheng, one of the stallholders.

"When the dog dies slowly there is much more flavour in the meat. Some customers want the dog half-dead.

"Then the taste is very strong and they can prove to their customers that the meat is really fresh.

"I do not care about the dog suffering. It is only to eat and the customer is the one that chooses how it should die.

"But most customers actually want the dog beaten to death and put in a plastic bag. It's easier to carry like that."

A cage full of cats waiting to be sold. Their destiny is to end up in tiger, phoenix and dragon soup - actually consisting of cat, chicken and snake

A teenager we saw holding a hollow metal pole was an expert in "not quite killing" the animals, we were told.

As his colleague held the dog's neck with long metal calipers to prevent them moving, the young man struck each dog with the pole several times on the skull. Each swing of the metal bar resulted in a dull thump and a desperate whimper from the poor animal.

The unconscious dogs, with blood dripping from their head wounds and mouths, were dumped outside the cage. Next they were bound with metal wire and strapped onto a motorbike or thrown into the back of a lorry.

Sheng went on to explain that butchered meat is also sold, with the dogs killed before being dipped in boiling water to remove their fur.

His stall is one of at least 30 at the market that specialise in dogs - although he would not discuss prices.

He sells around 500 a month but, having only been trading for two months, he expects business to increase as more customers hear about the new market.

Even in the absence of any animal rights legislation, Three Birds' owners are wary of plying their gruesome trade too openly, and advertising for the market refers only to poultry.

At the entrance, there are cages full of ducks, geese, chicken and wildfowl. But further inside, away from the public, are the stalls trading in cats and dogs.

The cats sell for around £1 per kilo wholesale. Weighed by the dozen on large scales, they end up in restaurants, where they are sold for around £1.65 per kilo to the public.

Restaurant owners and middlemen buy them by the sack-load to use in tiger, phoenix and dragon soup - a delicacy actually consisting of cat, chicken and snake.

Sadly there were many children in the market witnessing the cruelty.

Zhang Xiao Mei, the 12-year-old daughter of a cat and dog stallholder, said: "I do not want to see this. I hate it when I see my father killing these animals.

"I have nightmares about getting chased by dogs that have blood all over their tongues.

Around 10 million dogs are slaughtered for food annually in China where dog meat is said to increase the positive energy of one's body (the yang) and improve circulation.

Cat meat is also considered to be warming, with the stomach, intestines and thighs consumed for their perceived benefits and the rest of the animal thrown away.

The Three Birds' Market proves that despite China's bid to clean up its act before the Beijing Olympics next year, on the issue of animal cruelty it still has a long way to go.

Although sickening to read, thank you Richard Jones and Tom Scott for bringing this to the attention of hopefully many. Years ago I used to travel to Hong Kong and know of the animal markets but never knew just how horrific they were. Since reading the article I cannot stop thinking of those poor helpless animals. Please Daily Mail start another campaign to stop this horrific business and cruelty.

Please, please, publish the organisation we can support to stop this barbaric practise. I have never seen anything so distressing. The article had me in tears. There is no justification for cruelty, no matter where in the world you live.

A Brief Story of Our Beloved Prophet of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH)

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

MUHAMMAD (PBUH): THE MESSENGER AND PROPHET OF ALLAH

Praise be to Allah, from Whom we seek help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our souls. He whom Allah guides cannot be lead astray, and he whom Allah does not guide no one can guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and apostle. O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent your Blessings on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious.

Allah, the Exalted, says: " It is He (Allah) Who has sent His Apostle (Muhammad) with Guidance and the Religion of Truth that he (Muhammad) may proclaim it over all religion even though the Pagans may detest it." Q61:9. "And verily, you (Muhammad) are on an exalted (standard of) character." Q68:4.

“Say (O Muhammad!): "O mankind! I am sent unto you all as the apostle of Allah to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He that gives both life and death. So, believe in Allah and His apostle the unlettered Prophet who believed in Allah and His words: follow him so that you may be guided."” Q7:158.

Prophet Muhammad (PUBH) was born on Rabbil Awwal 12, 571 A.D (there is difference of opinion on the exact date of birth, majority of the scholars favored 12th of Rabbil Awwal). His father was Abdullah and his mother was Aminah. His father died before his birth and his mother died when he was about six years old. He was in the care of Abdul Muttalib, his grandfather, till 580 A.D. He lived with his uncle, Abu Talib, after the death of his grandfather. He had no formal education but used to accompany his uncle to neighboring cities on business trips and in 594 A.D, he became the manager of Khadija's business. Khadija, a widow, was so impressed about his honesty that she offered herself in marriage in the year 595 A.D. Despite the fact that she was richer and older, she trusted, respected and surrendered all her wealth to prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Everybody in Makkah trusted and respected him as well. They used to keep their valuables with him and they used to call him Al-Alim meaning the trustworthy.

He used to retire into a cave at Mt. Hira for seclusion on a yearly basis and he never participated in paganism that was rampant in Makkah at that time. In the month of Ramadan, 610 A.D, Angel Gabriel revealed the first revelation to him while in the cave. "Proclaim! (or Read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher Who created. Created man out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful. He Who taught (the use of) the Pen. Taught man that which he knew not." Q96:1-5. He was scared and ran out of the cave to his house and ordered his wife to cover him with cloth, but the revelation continued and that was the beginning of his problem with his people who resisted change by all their might.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) left Makkah for Medina in the year 622 A.D where he established Islamic state. He died in 632 A.D in Madina, some Muslims, including Umar, the second Caliph, could not believe that the great man and prophet of Allah could die. Aisha (RA) narrated that: Abu Bakr came out and 'Umar was addressing the people, and Abu Bakr told him to sit down but 'Umar refused. Abu Bakr again told him to sit down but 'Umar again refused. Then Abu Bakr recited the Tashah-hud (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle) and the people attended to Abu Bakr and left 'Umar. Abu Bakr said, "Amma ba'du, whoever amongst you worshipped Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allah, Allah is alive and will never die. Allah says:." Muhammad is no more than an Apostle: many were the Apostles that passed away before him. If he died or were slain will you then turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve him) with gratitude. " Q3:144. (The narrator added, "By Allah, it was as if the people never knew that Allah had revealed this verse before till Abu Bakr recited it and then whoever heard it, started reciting it."). (Bukhar 2.333).

That is a short summary of the life of our beloved prophet of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH). He was the last of prophets of Allah, "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men but he is the Apostle of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things." Q33:40. He was the spiritual leader, head of state, commander of army, chief judge, businessman, husband, father, e.t.c. He demonstrated good examples in all aspects of life, Allah says: "You have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern of (conduct) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day and who engages much in the praise of Allah." Q 33:21. We all have read and witnessed how power intoxicates people.

Sincere non-Muslims could not hide their amazement about the personalities of Prophet Muhammad but commend the good leadership of our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Micheal H. Hart, in his book "The 100: A Ranking of the most Influential Persons in History" ranked our beloved prophet Muhammad as the most influential in history. Jules Masserman, a psychoanalyst wrote: "Perhaps the greatest leader of all times was Muhammad, who combined all three functions (provided for the well-being of the lead, provided a social organization in which people feel relatively secure and provided his people with one set of beliefs). To a lesser degree, Moses did the same.

The prophet (PBUH) said: "The best talk (speech) is Allah's Book (Qur'an), and the best way is the way of Muhammad, and the worst matters are the heresies (those new things which are introduced into the religion); and whatever you have been promised will surely come to pass, and you cannot escape it. (Bukhari 9.382). There is no evidence that our beloved prophet or the four rightly guided Caliphs celebrated the birthday of prophet Muhammad (PBUH). What we read is that our beloved prophet used to fast on his birthday. We should read more about the life of the prophet and emulate him in our affairs rather than merriment.

In Islam, there are only two festivals namely Idil-Fitr and Idil-Adha. These are the festival at the end of Ramadan fasting and the festival in the month of Dhul-Hajj that involves slaughtering of ram. These are not mere festivals but have something to do with Islamic faith and whoever participates in them, according to the dictates of prophet Muhammad (PBUH), will be rewarded by Allah. Allah, the Exalted, says: "It is not fitting for a Believer man or woman when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Apostle to have any option about their decision: if anyone disobeys Allah and His Apostle he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path." Q33:36.

May the peace and blessings of Allah be on our beloved prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), his household, companions and all followers of the right guidance till the Day of Judgment. May Allah have mercy on Nigeria and us, may He let us know good things and give us the strength to do them, may He let us know evil and give us the strength to resist it.

Double Choc Chip Muffins
Double Choc Chip Muffins Recipe
Recipe for Double Choc Chip Muffins:
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil (125ml)
1 cup milk (240ml)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 cups plain flour (240g)
1/2 cup sugar (85g)
1/4 cup cocoa (35g)
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (85g)
Extra chocolate chips to sprinkle on top (if desired)

Preheat oven to 200 C and prepare muffin pan by greasing or fill with paper liners. A nonstick pan requires no greasing, although I like to just grease the bottoms. In large bowl mix well the eggs, oil, milk and vanilla. In smaller bowl mix well the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips. Combine wet and dry mixtures and fold together gently until just mixed. Spoon into prepared pan and sprinkle choc chips of top of each. Bake at 200C for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
Nice sprinkled with extra chocolate chips on top of each muffin before baking.

A Young Man's Fear of Allah

One day, Malik bin Dinar (rahimaullah) was passing by a place when he noticed a young man wearing old clothes and crying by the roadside. His name was Uthbah. Sweat was dripping down his body even though the temperature was very cold at that time. Malik bin Dinar became very surprised at this scene and asked Uthbah, "Oh young man, why are you crying? And why are you sweating during this cold temperature?"

Uthbah replied, "Once, I committed a sin at this place. Today, as I was passing by this place, I remembered that sin."

A true story about a mom

Three men were wandering by the beach. It was almost after Isha... so they chose a nice clean spot, settled there and started to have the dinner they bought from a nearby fast-food resturant. They noticed an old lady wandering around... One of them couldn't help but go ask her what is she doing... as she, seemingly, was hungry therefore picking up left-overs thrown here and there to eat ... she seemed worried and anxious, as well. So this guy approached her and asked what's wrong?? She looked at him anxiously and told him that her son dropped her there and promised to pick her up at night and that she's been there since noon. The three guys asked her for her address. They decided to drop her there, thinking perhaps her son couldn't make it. She took a piece of paper out of her pocket and gave it to the guys saying her son wrote down their address in case she was lost. The guys opened the paper and got SHOCKED!!

The son wrote: Whoever finds this lady, should take her to the nearest Home!

Sad, shocked and annoyed the guys couldn't tell the lady what was actually written in there. She looked too old, too weak to take it. So, they tried hard to convince her to go with them... to help her look for her house or even son... or maybe take her to their families who'd help. But she refused wholeheartedly saying her son is coming to take her and that she can't go and leave him. He'd get worried. (She didn't want to worry him....( SubhanAllah!)

Helplessly, the three guys left to their homes. One of them, couldn't sleep, so he decided to go back to that beach and check on the lady. As soon as he got dressed and left to there, he found an ambulance, a police car and a crowd of people. He made his way through them all... and when he got there... he saw the old lady...dead and pale... covered by some white cold sheet. He gave out a loud cry and started sobbing...

When he asked what happened... he was told that this lady was waiting for her son... worried and concerened that something wrong might have happened to that son who didn't show up to take her home... her blood pressure rose up real high causing her a stroke.... she died...

The Poor Man

It was a usual meeting. The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) was in his place and his companions gathered around him to hear the words of wisdom and guidance.

Suddenly a poor man in rags appeared, saluted the assembly:
"Salamun Alaikum" and finding a vacant place, comfortably sat down. The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) had taught them that all Muslims were brothers and in an assembly one should sit wherever one finds a place, regardless of any status.

Now, it so happened that this poor man sat next to a very rich man. The rich man felt disturbed and tried to collect the edges of his dress around himself, so that the poor man did not touch them. The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) observed this and addressing the rich man he said:
"Perhaps you were afraid that his poverty would affect you?"

"No, O Messenger of Allah," he said

"Then perhaps you were apprehensive about some of your wealth flying away to him?"

"No, O Messenger of Allah."

"Or you feared that your clothes would become dirty if he touched them?"

"No, O Messenger of Allah."

"Then why did you draw yourself and your clothes away from him?"

The rich man said: "I admit that was the most undesirable thing to do. It was an error and I confess. Now to make amends for it, I will give away half of my wealth to this Muslim brother so that I may be forgiven."

Just as he said this, the poor man rose and said: "O Prophet of Allah, I do not accept his offer."

People present were all taken by surprise. They thought the poor man was a fool. But he explained:
"O Prophet of Allah, I refuse to accept his offer because I fear that I might then become arrogant and ill treat my Muslim brothers the way he did to me."

Tripple Chocolate Cheesecake by CHOCOLATE

Triple Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients (serves 8)

* 200g plain chocolate biscuits
* 80g butter, melted
* 1/3 cup cold tap water
* 5 teaspoons gelatine
* 500g cream cheese, softened
* 1/2 cup icing sugar
* 1/2 cup milk
* 150g white chocolate, melted
* 150g dark chocolate, melted
* 1 1/2 cups thickened cream, whipped
* 100g milk chocolate, grated
* cocoa powder, to serve

Method

1. Grease and line a 24cm (base) springform pan. Process biscuits in a food processor to fine crumbs. Transfer to a bowl. Add melted butter. Stir until well combined. Use your fingertips to press into base of prepared pan. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until firm.
2. Place water into a heatproof microwavesafe bowl. Sprinkle over gelatine. Stand for 1 minute. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) power for 20 to 40 seconds or until gelatine dissolves. Set aside for 15 minutes.
3. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, sugar and milk until smooth. Stir in gelatine. Divide cream cheese mixture between 2 bowls.
4. Stir white chocolate into 1 cream cheese mixture. Stir dark chocolate into other.
5. Fold half the cream through white chocolate mixture and half through dark chocolate mixture.
6. Pour dark chocolate mixture over biscuit base. Freeze for 10 minutes or until firm to the touch. Carefully spread white chocolate mixture over dark. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.
7. Release sides of pan. Place cheesecake onto a serving platter. Sprinkle with grated milk chocolate. Dust with cocoa. Cut into slices with a warm knife. Serve.

All praise is due to Allah who created the universe and taught. His greatest Prophet Muhammad (saw) the best good manners, purified his character and conduct and adopted him as His friend. He gives grace to follow the Holy Prophet (saw) to one who wishes to make his character and conduct beautiful. He deprives one to follow whom he wishes to destroy. Open good conduct is the fountain of secret good conduct. The movements of the bodily limbs are the results of thoughts of mind and the external actions are the result of character and conduct. To make efforts in recognizing Allah and the acquisition of wonderful secret powers are the fountains of actions.

The light of this secret power is expressed outwardly and makes the body beautiful and gives rise to good attributes after removing evils. The man, who has got, not fear in mind, has got not fear expressed in his bodily limbs. The beauty of the conduct of Prophethood is not expressed in a man whose mind is not illumined with the light of Allah . I intended to gather together in this chapter the ways of the life of his ways in the first and second parts of this book. I do not wish to repeat them here.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Learning Through the Quran

The Holy Prophet (saw) used to invoke and pray to the Almighty Allah to grant him good manners and good treatment with the people and to adorn him with good character and conduct. He use to say in his invocation: “O Allah , make my constitution and conduct good. He used to pray: O Allah , save me from bad character and conduct. Acceptance of his prayer is seen in the following verse. Invoke me, I will respond to you 2:186. Allah revealed the Quran on him and through it He taught him good manners. His character is the Quran. Sa’ad (ra) reported: Once I went to Ayesha (ra) and her father and asked them about the character and conduct of the Holy Prophet (saw) to which Ayesha (ra) replied: Don’t you read the Quran? I said: Yes. She said: The character of the Messenger of Allah is the Quran. His conduct is expressed in the following verse:

Take to pardon, enjoin good and turn away from the illiterate.

Allah says: Allah enjoins justice, kindness, giving charity to the relatives and prohibits indecencies, evils and rebellion -16:90.
Have patience at the disasters that befall on you. It is a difficult task. It is difficult to have patience and to forgive.
Allah says: Pardon and forgive them. Allah loves the doers of good. Allah says: Don’t you like that Allah should forgive you?
Allah says: Remove evil with what is good, as a result the enmity that exists between you and him will be removed and he will become your friend.
Allah says: Those who appease their wrath, those who pardon people, Allah loves the doers of good.
Allah says: Give up conjectures in most cases, as some conjecture is sin. Don’t spy and don’t back-bite one another.

In the battle of Uhud, when the cover of the head of the Prophet fell down and he became separated from his companions, blood was oozing out from his face and he said wiping his blood: How will the people get salvation who dyed the face of the Holy Prophet (Saw) with blood while he calls them towards their Lord? Then Allah revealed this verse:

“‘You have got no hand in the matter. This was only for teaching him good manners.”

The verse concerning the teaching of good manners to the Holy Prophet (saw) are many in the Quran. It was the first object of Allah to teach the Prophet good manners and good character and conduct. For this reason, the Holy Prophet (saw) said: I have been sent to completed good conduct. Allah praised the character of the Holy Prophet (saw) by saying! You are surely on sublime character. The Holy Prophet (saw) explained it to the people: Allah loves good character, hates bad character.

Ali (ra) said: I wonder for a Muslim who does not do benefit to his brother Muslim who stands in need of it. If he hopes for rewards and fears punishment, he should hasten towards good conduct as it shows the path of salvation.

A man asked Ali (ra): Have you heard it from the Holy Prophet (saw)? He said: Yes, I have heard better advice from him. When the prisoners of the tribe of Hatem Tai were brought to him, a girl came to him out of them and said: O Muhammad, if you wish, release me, but don’t dishonour me before the tribe of the Arabs. I am the daughter of the leader of my people and my father was the caretaker of my people. He used to set free the captives, feed the hungry, spread peace and did never return any beggar at the time of his need. I am the daughter of Hatem Tai. The Holy Prophet (Saw) said: O girls, what you have mentioned about his qualities are the attributes of a believer. The Holy Prophet (saw) said to his companions. Let her be free as her father lewd good character and conduct.

Abu Burdah-b-Niyar stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah (saw), does Allah love good conduct? The Holy Prophet (Saw) replied: By One in whose hand there is my life, None shall enter paradise except one who has got good conduct.

The Holy Prophet (saw) said: Allah (sawadorned Islam with good character and beautiful actions. Good company, good manners, modest talk, doing good to others, feeding, spreading peace, visiting the ill pious or sinner, following the bier of a Muslim, treating good with a neighbour believer or non-believer, showing honour to a Muslim having honour to accept invitation, to forgive, to set disputes among the people, to give charity, to greet first, to pardon the faults of the people, to give up songs, instrument of songs and jests which Islam prohibited not to backbite, to speak truth, to give up miserliness, greed, deceit, to give up bad treatment with enemy, not to cut off blood tie, to give up bad conduct, pride, glory, haughtiness, indecencies, hatred rebellion, enmity, oppression, etc., all these are the attributes of a believer.

Anas (Ra) reported that the Holy Prophet (Saw) did not give up good advice and enjoined us to stick to it. He used to warn us from backbiting and prohibited it. The following verse is sufficient to prove it: Allah loves justice and doing good to others. Muaz (ra) said: The Holy Prophet (aaw) advised me thus: O Muaz, I advise you: fear Allah , speak the truth, fulfil promise, pay up trust, give up breach of trust, save your neighbour, show kindness to orphans, be modest in talk, spread peace, do good deeds, hope less, stick to fifth earn knowledge about the Qur’an, love the next world, fear rendering of accounts and lower your aim. O Muaz, I forbid you: Don’t tell a truthful man lair, don’t follow any sin, don’t disobey any judge, don’t be a leader, don’t disobey a just judge, and don’t create disorder in land. I give you instruction: Fear Allah while passing by each stone, tree, and heaps of earth. Make repentance anew after committing any sin. Repent secretly for secret sin and openly for open sin.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Character and Conduct

The Holy Prophet (saw) was the most patient among men, the bravest, the best judge, and one who pardoned most. His hand did not touch any strange woman. He was the greatest charitable man. He did not pass a single night hoarding any dirham or dinar. Whenever any excess money came to him and if he did not then get anyone to accept it as charity, he did not return home till he gave it to the poor and the needy. He did not store up for more than a year the provision of his family members which Allah was pleased to give him. He used to take one fifth of what easily came to him out of dates and wheat. What remained in excess, he used to give in charity. He used to give away in charity to one who begged anything of him, even out of his stored up provision.

He used to repair his shoes, join his wives in their labours and cut meat with them. He was the most shy among men and could not stare at anyone for long. He accepted invitation of slaves and free men and presentation of even a cup of milk. He did not use the properties of Zakat and used to accept the invitation of the widows and the poor. He used to speak the truth even though it was sometimes a cause of trouble to himself and his companions. He used to say: I Don’t accept any invitation of any infidel. He used to bind stones in his bell for appeasing his hunger and eat whatever he got. He did not return any present and did not take precaution in any lawful food. If he got dried grapes in lieu of bread, he ate them. If he got baked meat, he ate it. He used to eat whatever he got of bread, wheat, sweets, and honey. He considered milk as sufficient if he did not get any other food. He used not to take food leaning against a pillow or upon a high table. Soles of his two feet served as his towel. He used not to eat bread consecutively for three days till he met Allah . it was a voluntary act on his part. He used to accept invitations of marriage attend the sick and the diseased and attend the funerals. He was the most modest without pride and his tongue was most eloquent without prolongation of his speech.

His constitution was the most beautiful. No worldly duties could keep him busy. He used to put on whatever he got. His ring was made of silver and he used to put it on in the little finger of his right or left hand. He used to take his servant behind his back on any conveyance, whether it was horse, camel or ass. Sometimes he walked bare footed; sometimes he had no turban or cap on his head.

He used to go even to a distant place to see sick, love scents and hate stench or bad smell, sit with the poor and the destitute, eat with them, honour those possessing honour, advise them to do good deeds and show kindness to the relatives. He did not treat harshly with anybody and accepted excuse offered to him. He used at times to cut jokes without falsehood and not burst into laughter.

He held innocent sports and plays as lawful, played with his wives and held races with them. He used to drink milk of camels and goats along with his family members and give them equal shares in foods and dresses. He passed no time uselessly except for Allah . He used to walk in the gardens of his companions for recreation. He did not hate the poor for their poverty, not fear the kings for their mighty power. He used to call the people, high or low, towards Allah . Allah adorned him with all the qualities and good administration although he was illiterate. His boyhood was spent along with the shepherds and he used to graze sheep and goats. He was an orphan and his parents died in his infancy.

Holy Prophet (saw)’s Good Manners

If the Holy Prophet (saw) abused anybody, he used to give him compensation and show him kindness. He did never curse any woman or slave. Once when he was in the battle field, he was asked: O Messenger of Allah , it would have been better if you had cursed them. He said: Allah sent me as a mercy and not as a great curser. When he was asked once to curse a particular person or an unbeliever, he did not curse him but on the contrary prayed for his welfare. He never beat anybody with his own hand except in the way of Allah . He did not take any revenge for personal wrongs but he used to take it for preservation of the honour of Allah .

He used to select the easier of two things and kept away if there was any sin there in or anything to cut off relationship. He used to fulfil the needs of anyone who required his help, whether a slave or a freeman. Anas (ra) said: By One who sent him as a Holy Prophet (saw), he never said to me. Why have you done this or why have you not done this? His wives also did not rebuke me. If there was any bed of the Holy Prophet (Saw), he used to sleep on it or else he used to sleep on the ground. Allah described the Holy Prophet (saw) in the Torah Muhammad the Holy Prophet (saw) of Allah , His chosen servant, without harshness, not roaming in the streets, not returning evil for evil. He is prone to pardon. He is forgiven. His birth is at Mecca, his migration to Ta’ba and his reign in Syria. He and his companions put on Ijar around their waists and call towards the Quran and wisdom. He makes ablution of his bodily limbs. Similar is his description in Injil (New Testament).

Another trait of his characters is that he used to salute first one whom he met with. He used to wait at a place where he was to meet a man. He used not to withdraw his hand from anybody till he first withdrew his hand. When he met with any of his companions, he used to handshake with him, hold his hand, enter his fingers unto his fingers and hold them firmly. He did not stand up or sit without remembering Allah . When anybody sat by him at the time of his prayer, he used to make it short and say to him: Have you got any need? When he fulfilled his need, he returned to his prayer.

His assembly was not different from that of his companions, as he sat where he went. He was not found sitting among his companions spreading out his legs. He used to sit mostly facing the Ka’aba and honour one who came to him. Even he used to spread his own sheet of cloth for one with whom he had no relationship. He used to give his pillow to one who came to him and everyone thought that the Prophet honoured him more. Whoever came to him could see his face.

He used to call his companions by their surnames with honour and he used to give one surname to one who had no surname. He used to call the women by the names of their issues and call others by their surnames. He used to call the boys by their surnames for which their hearts were inclined to him. He used to get angry last of all and was very affectionate and kind in dealing with the people. Nobody could speak loudly in his assembly. He used to recite: O Allah , Thou are pure, all praise is for Thee. I bear witness that there is no deity but Thee. I seek forgiveness from Thee and turn to Thee.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Words and Laughter

The Holy Prophet (Saw) was the greatest of the Arabs in oratory and sweet speech. He said: I am the greatest orator among the Arabs. He used to speak little. When he talked, he did not talk much. His talks fell gradually from his lips like pearls. Ayesha (ra) said: the Messenger of Allah used to talk like you. They said: The Messenger of Allah used to talk little and everything was expressed in this short talk. In his speech, there was no defect of excess or shortness. The words come one after another like pearls. Whoever heard them remembered them. He was sweetest in talk among his companions. He said to keep silent for long and have no talk without necessity. He used not to talk evil words and what he talked was just. He did not use ornamental words. His companions did never dispute before him. He used to say: Don’t beat one verse of the Quran by another as it has been revealed for many purposes. He used to smile much before his companions and teeth then were exposed to view.

It was reported: Once a desert Arab came to the Prophet whose face became changed at seeing him. Seeing anger in his face, the Arab said: By One who sent him as a true Holy Prophet (Saw), I will not ask him till he smiles. Then he said: O Messenger of Allah , we heard that Dajial (Anti-Christ) will come with Sarid for the people. Then the people will remain hungry. My parents be sacrificed to you. Do you forbid me to eat it till I am destroyed? Do you order me to eat it with satisfaction? Shall I talk infidelity after faith in Allah ? The Holy Prophet (Saw) laughed at this, so much so that his teeth were exposed to view. Then he said: It is not that, rather Allah will make you free from the food from which he made the believers free.

At the time when the Quran was being revealed to him, he used to smile most when something happened, he entrusted it to Allah , kept himself free from his own strength and ability and said in invocation: O Allah , show me truth in a true manner or give me grace to give it up, save me from doubt so that I may not follow my passion without Thy guidance. Make my desire to obey Thee. Take pleasure from the peace of my mind. Show me the different shades of truth. Thou guidest to the straight path whomsoever Thou willeth.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Manners in Eating

The Holy Prophet (Saw) eat whatever he got. To him, the best food was what all partook of. When the dining cloth was spread, he used to say: In the name of Allah , O Allah , make it a sift to express gratefulness that there might be gifts in paradise. Whenever the Holy Prophet (Saw) sat to eat, he used to sit as praying man sits, not placing one leg upon another and say: I am a mere servant, I eat as a servant eats. He used not to take any hot food and said: There is no grace in it and Allah will not feed us with fire, so make this food cold. He used to eat whatever was presented to him with three fingers with the help of the fourth finger at times. Once a tiffin made of clarified butter, honey and wheat presented to him. He eat it and said: How good it is. He used to eat bread, curry, dates and salt. Of all the fresh fruits, the dearest to him was grapes, cucumber and water melon.

He used to eat gourd with bread and sugar and sometimes with dates. His ordinary meal consists of dates and water. Sometimes he mixed milk with dates. Meat was his most favourite curry. He said: Meat increase the power of hearing and is the king of foods in this world and the next. Had I prayed to my lord for eating meat everyday, He would have granted it. He used to eat cooked meat with gourd. He liked gourd and said: It is the fruit of a plant of my brother Jonah. The prophet said to me: O Ayesha (ra) when you cook meat, mix therewith much water as it makes the broken hearted strong. He used to eat the meat of hunted birds but he did not himself hunt or follow game.

He used to eat bread with butter and like goats neck and thigh. He liked gourd among curries, vinegar condiment, dried dates among dates. He prayed for three things and said: These have come from paradise and they are medicines for poison and insomnia. He liked among curries creepers of yellow newer and carrot. He disliked the meat of reservoir of urine. He did not eat several things of goat genital organ, female organ, blood, urinal meat, goitre, gall bladder, etc. He did not eat onion and garlic, nor condemned them. He used to eat what he liked and did not eat what he did not like. He did not like to eat the meat of lizard and cockroach; neither did he prohibit them to be eaten. He used to lick up his dish with his hand and said: Most blessing is in the remnants of food.

He used to lick up his fingers after meal so much so that they assumed reddish hue. He used not to cleanse his hands with towel till he licked up his fingers well and said: Nobody knows in which food there is blessing. When he finished his meal, he used to say:

“O Allah , for Thee is all praise. You have given me food and drink and given me satisfaction. So praise to Thee without expiation and farewell and being not free there from.”

He was accustomed to wipe his hand well and then wash his hands and mouth with excess water and take the name of Allah each time. He used to drink water in slow degrees and not hastily in one breath. He used not to blow breath in the cup of water at the time of drinking and supply food to one by his side.

Once he was given milk and honey mixed together but he refused to drink it saying: Two drinks at the same time and two curries at the same time! He said: I don’t make them unlawful but I consider them bad for rendering accounts on the resurrection day as they are additional things in this world. I like modesty and Allah raises up one who humbles himself for Allah . He lived in his house more bashful than an unmarried girl. He used not to order for preparation of any food and eat whatever was given to him and remain silent if not given.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Manners in Dress

The Holy Prophet (saw) use to put on sheet, gown, shirt and whatever he got. Green dress used to please him but most of his dresses were white. He said: Give your living men to dress with white garments and dress your dead therewith. He used to put on gown for Jihad. His shirt was long up to his thigh. He had only one shirt dyed with saffron with which he led prayers. Sometimes he put on only one shirt up to his thigh and say: I am only a slave. I put on garment as a slave puts on. He had two special garments for Jumma prayer which he did not put on at other times. Sometimes he had only one garment with which he cohabited with his wives. He had a black garment which he gifted away.

Omme Salma said: What fault has this black garment committed? He replied: I had put it on. She said: You look more beautiful if the black garment mixes with your beautiful constitution. Sometimes, he used to go out putting on a seal tied with thread in his hand. He used to impress his letters with seal and say: It is better to put seal in letter than back-biting. He used to put on cap under his turban. If he had no turban, he used to put on cap. Sometimes, he took off his cap from his head and fixed it in front as a prayer-stake. When he had no turban and cap, he covered his head with a sheet of cloth. He had a turban named Sahhab which he presented to Ali (ra).

Whenever he put on a garment, he began from his right side and said: All praise is due to Allah who has given this garment to cover my private parts and to express adornment. When he wished to put off his garment, he began from his left side. When he put on a new garment, he gave his old cloth in charity to a poor man and said: If a Muslim gives his wearing garment to another Muslim, nobody except Allah will dress him. He remains in the custody of Allah till that cloth remains with him, be he alive or dead. His bed was made of grape-covers and refuges. It was two yards long and one yard and one cubit board.

He had the habit of naming animals, arms and properties. The name of his standard was Iqab, he had his swords named Zulfiqer, Makhzam, Rejab, and Kazib. The middle portion of his swords was moulded with silver. He used to wear belt of leather which had three rings of silver. The name of his arrow was Katum, of his shield Kafur, of his camel Qaswah, of his donkey Duldul, another donkey Ekab and of his goat Aynah whose milk he used to drink. He had an earthen pot, which he used as an ablution pot and drink water therefrom.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Pardon

The Holy Prophet (saw)was the most patient among men and the most forgiving in spite of having power to take retaliation. If anybody presented to him any necklace of gold or silver, he used to give it to some of his companions. One day, a desert Arab stood up and said: O Muhammad, if Allah ordered you to do justice, I don’t see you doing it. He said: Woe to you! Who will do better justice to you after me? When he was about to go, the Holy Prophet (saw) said: Take him to me with humility. The Holy Prophet (saw) was taking silver coins for the people in the cloth of Bilal in the battle of Khaiber. One man said to him: O Messenger of Allah , do justice. The Holy Prophet (Saw) said to him:

“Woe to you, if I don’t do justice, who will do justice after me? If I do not do justice, I shall be ruined and suffer loss.”

Omar (ra) then said: Should I not kill him as he is a hypocrite? He said: May Allah save him! In that case, people will say that I kill my companions.

Once, the Holy Prophet (saw) was in a certain jihad. At one time, the unbelievers found the Muslim heedless. So one of them raised a sword upon the head of the Holy Prophet (saw) and asked him: Who will prevent me to kill you? He at once replied: “Allah ”, immediately the sword fell down from his hand and the Holy Prophet (saw) took it up and said: Who will prevent me to kill you? He said: Hold it firmly. The Holy Prophet (saw) said:

“Say, I bear witness, that there is no deity but Allah and that I am His Messenger.” He said: “I have got no envy against you, I shall not kill you. I shall not go with you and I shall not join those who fight against you.” Then the Holy Prophet (Saw) set him free. The man went to his tribe and said: I have come to you today from the best man.

Anas (ra) reported that a Jewess mixed poison in the food of the Holy Prophet (saw) at Khaiber. When he began to eat it, he got smell of the poison and stopped eating. The woman was brought to the Holy Prophet (saw) who asked her about the poisoned food. The woman said: I intended to kill you. He said: Allah will not give you that power. The companions exclaimed: Should we not kill her? The Holy Prophet (saw) said: Don’t kill her. One day a Jew enchanted the Holy Prophet (saw), Jibril (as) gave this information to the Holy Prophet (saw). He took out the enchanted thing and came round, but took no revenge against the Jew.

Ali (ra) said: The Holy Prophet (saw) sent Jubair, Meqdad and myself to a certain place and said: Go on till you reach Raojakhak where you will find a woman with a letter which you must take from her. We then reached the place and told the woman to deliver the letter so us. The woman denied knowledge of any letter. She was then compelled to deliver the letter to us. We then came therewith to the Prophet. It was written therein, from Hateb-b-Ali Bala’a to the polytheists of Mecca, etc. This letter was written to inform them secretly the affairs of the Holy Prophet (saw). The Holy Prophet (saw) said: O Hatib, what is the matter? He said: O Messenger of Allah , don’t hasten inflicting punishment on me. I have mixed with my people. The Refugees who are with you have got at Mecca their relatives who look after their families there. It was my object that though I have got no relationship with the Quraish, I would find such a man among them who will take care of my relatives there if I show kindness to them. I have not done it in a state of infidelity. I have not done it after accepting Islam being satisfied with infidelity. I have not done it being a retrograde. The Holy Prophet (saw) said: This man has spoken the truth. Omar (ra) said: Give us order to kill this hypocrite. The Holy Prophet (saw) said: He joined the battle of Badr with us. Who will inform you that the Almighty Allah addressed the warriors of Badr saying: Do whatever you like. Allah has forgiven you.

Once, the Holy Prophet (saw) distributed the booties when an Ansar stood up and said: Allah is not pleased with this distribution. When it was mentioned to the Holy Prophet (saw), his face turned red and he said: May Allah show you mercy. My brother Moses was given such troubles, but he remained patient. The Holy Prophet (saw) said: Let nobody communicate any thing of my companions, as I wish that at the time when I come to you, I come with a sound mind.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Objects of Dislike

The skin of the Holy Prophet (saw) was thin and his interior and exterior were clean. His pleasure and wrath were exposed in his face. When he got very angry, he used to touch his head repeatedly. He used not to disclose to anybody what appeared to him bad. One day a man dyed his body with yellow colour came to the Holy Prophet (saw). He dislikes it but did not say anything till he went. When he departed, he said to the people: If this man is asked to give up yellow colour, it would be better. Once a desert Arab passed water in presence of the Holy Prophet (saw) within the mosque. The companions were about to assault him when the Holy Prophet (saw) said to him: These mosques are not for passing urine and for uncleanness.

Once a desert Arab came to the Holy Prophet (saw) and begged something from him. He gave it to him and said: I have treated well with you. The desert Arab said: Never have you treated well with me. At this, the companions got angry but the Holy Prophet (saw) prohibited them to do any harm to him. Then he went to his room and brought something for him to eat and said: I have done you benefit. Then he said: May Allah bless your family and relatives. The Holy Prophet (saw) said to him: What you said first seemed unpleasant to my companions. If you like, say to them what you have said to me just now. What is in their mind will then vanish. He said: I shall say it to them. At another time, when the desert Arab came, the Holy Prophet (saw) said: I added what the desert Arab told me. It seemed to me that he was pleased with it. I asked him: Are you satisfied: Yes, may Allah bless your family and relatives. The Holy Prophet (saw) said: The smile of the desert Arab in relation to me is like that of a man who had a camel which went out. It went faster, fearing the people who followed it. The driver of the camel hinted: You all go away and leave the camel and myself alone. I know it better and shall show kindness to it. The driver of the camel gave it some food and called it towards him. When it came, he loaded it and rode upon it. When the desert Arab used harsh words, he would have entered Hell had I not prohibited you to take revenge upon him and assault him.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Generosity

The Holy Prophet was the greatest charitable man. His charity during Ramadan was greatest. Nothing could prevent him from it. Ali (ra) narrated the qualities of the Holy Prophet (saw) and said: His hand of charity of spread to its utmost and his tongue was the most truthful. His conduct was the most modest and he was the most honourable in lineage. Fear struck one who saw him first. Whoever mixed with him loved him. One who praised man begged something to the Holy Prophet (saw) in the name of Islam and it was given to him. He begged him something further and it was also given to him, and that was one flock of sheep which were grazing between two hillocks. He went to his people and said: Accept Islam because Muhammad gives so much that he does not fear poverty for that. He did never deprive one who begged something from him.

Once 10,000 dirhams were brought to the Holy Prophet (saw) which he distributed among his companions. After that, a man came to him and begged him something. He said: I have got now nothing, but still I am giving you something after purchasing it. It was done accordingly. Omar (ra) said: O Messenger of Allah , Allah has not imposed burden on you over which you have got no control. His words did not appear pleasing to the Holy Prophet (saw). That man said: Spend and do not fear poverty from Allah . The Holy Prophet (saw) then smiled and pleasure was visible in his face. Once when he returned from the battlefield of Hunain, the desert Arabs came to him and begged from him so much that he was compelled to take shelter to a corner of a tree. They caught his sheet and he said: Give back my sheet to me. Had I had sheep to the number of these thorny plants, I would have distributed them all to you and you would not have found me a miser or a coward.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Bravery and Heroism

The Holy Prophet (saw) was the greatest hero and brave man. Ali (ra) said: In the battle of Badr, we all stood surrounding the Holy Prophet (saw). He braved the enemies and we found him bravest on that day. He said: When fight began and friends and foes met with one another, we feared for the Holy Prophet (saw) as he was closest to the enemies. Nobody went so near the enemies than him. When he passed order for fighting, he got pleased and prepared himself. He was seen at that time most superior in strength. Imran (ra) said: The Holy Prophet (saw) attacked the enemy who came to him first. The companions said that the Holy Prophet (saw) had then a firm hold on the enemy. In the battle of Hunain, when the Holy Prophet (saw) was surrounded by the enemies, he alighted from his mule and said: I am surely the Messenger of Allah . There is no untruth in it. I am the descendant of Abdul Muttableb. He was on that day the bravest of all.

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Modesty and Humility

Inspite of the lofty position of the Holy Prophet (saw), he was the most humble and modest. Ibn Amer (ra) reported: I saw the Holy Prophet (saw) throwing stones at Jamrah riding on a camel. There was no assault in it, no driving out and no saying: Go aside, go aside. He sat on a sheet of cloth on the back of a mule and took someone behind him. He used to visit the sick, follow the biers, accept invitations of servants and slaves, repair shoes and sew garments. He used to help his family members in their household duties. His companions used not to stand up in his honour as they know his dislike for it. He used to salute the children when passing by them.

One day a man was brought to the Holy Prophet (saw) and he was afraid to see him. The Holy Prophet (saw) said: Be quiet, I am not a king. I am a son of a humble Quraishi woman who used to eat gourd. He used to sit with his companions like an ordinary man. Whenever any stranger came to see him, he could not at first recognize him till he was introduced to him. Ayesha (ra) said: May Allah sacrifice me to you, eat learning as it easier for you. The Holy Prophet (saw) leaned towards the ground so much that it seemed that his head would touch the ground. He used to say: I shall take meal like the eating of a slave and sit like the sitting of a slave. He used not to eat in plates while he lived.

Holy Prophet (saw)’s Figure and Constitution

The Holy Prophet (saw) was neither long stature nor short. When he walked alone, he appeared like a middle stature man. If a man of long stature walked with him, his figure looked longer. When two men of long stature walked by his two sides, he appeared longest, but when they became separate from him, the people called them long men. The Holy Prophet (saw) was of middle stature. He was pretty, neither too white, nor too brown. He was of pure reddish hue. Some one praised him saying. His limbs which confronted the sun, such as face and neck, appeared more whitish than reddish colour. The sweats of his face were like pearls and more perfumed than musk. His hair was very pretty, neither straight nor curly. When he combed them, they appeared like lines in sands. It is said that his hair was kept flowing up to his shoulders, sometimes he parted his hair into four parts and each two parts were let off through his two ears. Sometimes he kept his hair above his ears and his neck then appeared shining like pearls. Grey hairs were found in his head and beard. Their number was not more than seventeen. The Holy Prophet (saw) had a most pretty constitution. Some gave the smile of his beauty to that of the full moon. His forehead was wide and the place between his eyebrows was bright like pure silver and eye-balls were black tinged with reddish hue. The hairs of his eye lashes were profuse. His nose was thin and his teeth were neither separated, nor united. When they were exposed at the time of his smile or laugh, they shone like lighting. His lip was most beautiful and the ends of his face were the most soft. His face was smooth and nose not long. His beard was thick and he did not trim it. He used to clip his moustache. His neck was the most beautiful, neither long, nor short. If the rays of the sun fell on his neck, it appeared like a cup of silver mixed with gold. His chest was board. It was even like a mirror and white like the moon light. There was a thin line of hair extending from his chest up to the navel and there was no other hair over his belly. There were three lines in his belly. His apparel covered one line. His shoulders were wide and there was hair over them. The place between his shoulders was wide and therein there was impression or seal of Prophethood inclined a little towards the right shoulder. There was a spot mixed with black and yellow colours. There was hair around it which appeared like the hair of a horse. He had hands full of flesh and his fingers were like silver sticks and his palms were softer than wool and were so full of scent that it seemed that otto was applied to them. Sweet scent was attached to the hand of a person who handshake with the Holy Prophet (saw). If his pure hand touched the head of a boy, he could be recognized among boys owing to the sweet scent of his hand. His thighs were full of flesh and his constitution was proportionate and beautiful. In his latter days, he became rather fleshy but he was without grease like his first stage of life.

The Holy Prophet (saw) walked firmly and steadily. He said: concerning constitution I am similar to Adam but in character and conduct I am similar to Abraham. He said: I have got ten names near my Lord, (1) Muhammad (praised), (2) Ahmad (most praised), (3) Maui (remover of infidelity), (4) Aqeb (coming last), (5) Hasher (all appearing after me), (6) messenger of mercy, (7) messenger of repentance, (8) messenger of fights, (9) Muqfi (last of all prophets) and (1) Qasem (embodiment of all virtues).

Holy Prophet (Saw)’s Miracles

The character and conduct of the Holy Prophet (saw), his actions, his habits, management of affairs, his treatment with the different classes of people, him showing the straight path to them, his wonderful answers to different difficult and subtle questions, his untiring efforts for the good of people, his good guidance regarding the open laws of Shariat all these matters lead one to the conclusion that these were beyond the power of a man without help of an unseen hand. It is impossible on the part of a hypocrite or a liar. The people testified by seeing his constitution and qualifications that he was a great truthful man sent by Allah .

Allah gave him these qualities though he was illiterate and had no education and lived always with the illiterate Arabs. Being illiterate, orphan and weak, how could he acquire such good character and conduct, such knowledge about Allah without worldly knowledge? His true and correct knowledge about the earlier Holy Prophet (saw) show that he is a true messenger of Allah , because he knew these truths by revelations. How could he know what was beyond man unless he received revelation? His miracles prove that he is a true Holy Prophet (saw) of Allah .

Some of his Miracles with Help of Allah

(1) When the Quraish of Mecca told the Holy Prophet (saw) to divide the moon into two parts, the Holy Prophet (Saw) invoked Allah who split the moon into two portions and it was clearly visible to the people present.

(2) At the time of the siege of Medina by the allied armies for more than one month, the Holy Prophet (saw) supplied provision to all the people.

(3) At another time, he satisfied eighty people with food with only four muds of maize and one little goat.

(4) Once the daughter of Basher had a few dried grapes with which the Holy Prophet (saw) fed all his soldiers to their satisfaction and there remained also something in excess.

(5) Once water began to gush forth from the fingers of the Holy Prophet (saw), so much so that his soldiers drank to their hearts content and also made ablution therewith.

(6) Once there was no water in a well at Tabuk and it dried up. The Holy Prophet (saw) threw a little water from his ablution to the well and immediately it gushed forth so profuse water that thousands of soldiers drank it to their satisfaction.

(7) At another time, there was no water in a well at Hudaibiyah. The Holy Prophet (saw) threw the remaining ablution water into it which immediately gushed forth with abundant water. Fifteen hundred men drank it to their satisfaction.

(8) Once the Holy Prophet (saw) threw a handful of dust towards the faces of his enemies as a result of which they instantly became blind. Soon after this verse was revealed:

“When you throw, you did not throw, but Allah threw it.”

(9) The Holy Prophet (saw) used to deliver sermon standing on the trunk of a palm tree in the mosque, when it was replaced by another, the trunk began to emit mild sound which was heard by all his companions. When he touched it with his hand, it became calm.

(10) Once the Holy Prophet (saw) told the Jews to make Mobahala (that is whoever is a liar, he will die), but the Jews gave the news next morning that they feared to make it for fear of their lives. This is mentioned in the Qur’an.

(11) The Holy Prophet (saw) warned Othman (ra) of a great danger as a result of which he would enter paradise. History bears testimony that he was murdered in his very house while he was reading the Quran. The Holy Prophet (saw) told Ammer that a rebellious party would kill Othman. It is true that they murdered him.

(12) Once a man joined Jihad in the way of Allah . The Holy Prophet (saw) said about him that he would enter Hell. Then it was seen that he committed suicide.

(13) When the Holy Prophet (saw) was on his way towards Medina on migration, one Suraqa-b-Malek was following him to capture him in expectation of a reward, but the feet of his horse was sunk in dust in the act. When he sought the Holy Prophet (Saw)’s help to escape from the danger, he prayed for him. This continued for three times and the Holy Prophet (Saw) prayed for him each time. After being released for the third time, the Holy Prophet (Saw) gave him this prophecy in his almost helpless condition, that he would soon wear the bangles of Persian King Khosroe. After the conquest of Persia by the Muslims, these bangles were procured from the kind and were given to him for wearing.

(14) Aswad Ansari was a liar and claimed Prophethood during the life time of the Holy Prophet (Saw). He was a resident of Sana’a in Yemen. One night he was found assassinated in that town. In that very night, the Holy Prophet (Saw) gave his death news to the people and he named Feroze Daifami as his murderer.

(15) During the night of migration to Medina, one hundred Quraish surrounded the house of the Holy Prophet (saw) to kill him, but he went out of their clutches throwing dust on their heads for which they could not see him going out.

(16) Once the Holy Prophet (saw) gave the prophecy to some of his companions: The last man among you will die of arson. It after wards occurred that it came true.

(17) Once the Holy Prophet (saw) called two trees to cover him to give him the opportunity of urinating. The two trees shifted from their sites, covered him from public view and went away to their old sits after he finished his call of nature.

(18) The Holy Prophet (saw) was of middle stature, but when he walked, two long men by his sides, he was seen the longest of them.

(19) The Holy Prophet (saw) said: I will kill Abu-b-Hani in the battle of Uhud. In the battle, the Holy Prophet (Saw) inflicted a minor injury on him and as a result he expired.

(20) Once the Holy Prophet (saw) was given food mixed with poison to eat. He who ate it first expired, but the Holy Prophet (Saw) lived for four years even after taking that food. That food told the Holy Prophet (Saw): There is poison in me.

(21) In the battle of Badr, the Holy Prophet (saw) mentioned the fate of the leaders of the Quraish. This happened exactly as he said.

(22) The Holy Prophet (saw) said to his daughter Fatima (ra): You will meet me first after my death. She died six months after the Holy Prophet (saw).

(23) Once the Holy Prophet (saw) said to his wives: She who is longer in hand will meet me first after my death. Jainab (ra) was the most charitable among his wives and she died first after the Holy Prophet (saw).

(24) A certain camel had not milk in its udder. As soon as the Holy Prophet (saw) touched its udder, it began to give milk. Abdullah-b-Masud embraced Islam on seeing this miracle of the Holy Prophet (saw).

(25) Once one eye of a companion went out of its socket. The Holy Prophet (saw) restored it to its site and his eye sight increased more.

(26) The greatest living miracle of the Holy Prophet (saw) is the Quran which stands even today. He threw challenge to the people to produce a chapter like it. The Quran says:

“Say, if jinn and mankind gather together to bring a book like this Quran, they won’t be able to bring like it even though they help one another.”

So nobody was successful to bring a book or even a sentence like it, up to this time. This alone is a sufficient and living testimony that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) is a true messenger of Allah .

The Prophet's Last Sermon

This sermon was delivered on the ninth day of Dhul Hijah, 10 A.H. (632 A.D.) in the valley of Mount Arafat.

"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take interest, therefore, all interest obligations shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. Allah has judged that there shall be no interest and that all interest due to Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib (the prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived.

Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabiyah bin Al-Harith (relative of the prophet). O Men, the unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which Allah forbade, and to forbid that which Allah had made permissible. With Allah the months are twelve; four of them are holy; three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumadah and Shaaban. Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain right with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never commit adultery.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers, fast during the month of Ramadhan, and give your wealth in zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim, and that Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to your selves.

Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others, and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better that those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O Allah, that I have conveyed Your message to Your people."

Suami yang bijak dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan isteri yang timbul bersama jiran tetangga atau sebagainya.
Suami yang dapat memberikan pemerhatian dalaam hal keselamatan, kebajikan dan kesihatannya.
Suami yang dapat menyediakan tempat tinggal, pakaian dan makanan yang sempurna mengikut kemampuannya
Suami yang penyabar dan tidak mengggunakan kekerasan dalam menyelesaikan sesuatu masalah atau untuk mendapatkan seuatu.
Suami yang tidak cemburu buta tanpa asas terhadap isterinya yang mana boleh merosakkan keutuhan rumah tangga mereka.
Sentiasa memberikan kasih sayang, belas kasihan dan pergaulan yang baik terhadap isterinya.
Suami yang sentiasa menjaga rahsia isterinya dan tidak didedahkan kepada orang lain.
Suami yang ikhlas dan jujur serta dapat menepati janji terhadap isteri dan anak-anak.
Suami yang menjauhkan diri dari perbuatan maksiat seeprti meminum minuman keras, berjudi, berzina, menipu, mencuri dan sebagainya.
Suami yang dapat memberikan penjagaan dan pemerhatian yang baik terhadap isterinya. Penjagaan ini meliputi semua hal termasuk kehormatannya.
Suami mestilah bijak memahami persaan dan hati isteri sama ada dengan perbuatan atau perkataan, jangan biarkan dirinya dalam keadaaan bersedih.
Suami yang sentiasa mengutamakan kebersihan diri, zahir dan batin.
Suami mestilah menahan dirinya dari bergaul secara bebas dengan wanita lain.

Isteri yang sentiasa menjaga kebersihan, kesihatan dan kesempurnaan dirinya, rumah tangga serta anak-anak.
Isteri yang sentiasa mencintai dan menghormati keluarga suaminya seperti mana ia menghormati dan menyayangi keluarganya sendiri.
Isteri yang sentiasa menjaga aurat dari pandangan yang bukan mahramnya dan pandangan matanya sendiri.
Tidak membenarkan lelaki yang bukan mahramnya memasuki rumahnya ketika ketiadaan suami.
Isteri sedia menjadikan suaminya sebagai ketua dalam rumah tangga mereka. Ini kerana sifat semulajadi yang telah Allah anugerahkan kepada kaum lelaki.
Isteri sedia memberikan kesetiaan, ketaatan dan kepatuhan kepada suaminya selagi suruhan suami itu tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam.
Isteri yang sedia memberikan jawapan dan kasih sayang yang sepenuhnya sehingga membuatkan suami merasakan rumah tangganya itu adalah tempat untuk mendapatkan ketenangan dan kebahagiaan dari sebarang masalah kerja.
Isteri yang sentiasa menjaga rahsia dan maruah suaminya begitu juga dengan maruahnya sendiri ketika ketiadaan suami.
Isteri mestilah memohon keizinan suaminya untuk keluar dari rumah atau untuk mengerjakan puasa sunat.
Isteri mestilah bijak menguruskan harta suami dalam berbelanja dengan kadar yang sederhana serta tidak membazir. Cara ini dapat menyelamatkan suami dari masalah kewangan.
Isteri yang sedia menerima pemberian suami dengan penuh keikhlasan dan kerelaan.
Isteri yang sentiasa bersyukur dan tenang sama ada menerima nikmat atau dugaan dari Allah.
Sedia melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawab sebagai seorang isteri dan ibu serta segala perintah Allah dengan tabah dan sabar.
Berdiam diri sambil mendengar bila suaminya sedang bercakap.
Isteri yang sedia dan melayani dan memenuhi kehendak batiniah suami bila diperlukan.
Isteri yang sentiasa menghiasi diri dan sebaliknya pula bila ketiadaan suami.
Isteri yang sentiasa bersikap malu terhadap suaminya, bersopan santun dalam perkataan dan juga perbuatannya.
Isteri yang menemani suaminya ke muka pintu bila ia hendak keluar dan menyambutnya dengan seyuman bila ia pulang.
Suami yang bijak dalam memimpin rumah tangganya dan melaksanakan tugas dengan penuh amanah serta bertanggungjawab.

Hormatilah Azan ! Jika Tidak ..........................................

Lidah kelu di saat kematian. Kematian pasti menjelma. Hanya masa dan waktunya yang tidak kita ketahui. Cuba kita
amati.... mengapa kebanyakan orang yang nazak (hampir ajal tidak dapat berkata apa-apa, lidahnya kelu, keras dan
hanya mimik mukanya menahan kesakitan sakaratul maut.

Diriwayatkan sebuah hadis yang bermaksud :
"Hendaklah kamu mendiamkan diri ketika azan, jika tidak Allah akan kelukan lidahnya ketika maut menghampirinya."

Ini jelas menunjukkan, kita disarankan agar mendiamkan diri, jangan berkata apa-apapun semasa azan berkumandang.
Sebagai orang Islam kita wajib menghormati azan. Banyak fadhilatnya. Jika lagu kebangsaan kita diajar agar berdiri
tegak dan diamkan diri.... mengapa azan kita tidak boleh mendiamkan diri....!!! Lantas sesiapa yang berkata-kata ketika
azan, Allah akan kelukan lidahnya ketika nazak. Kita takut dengan kelunya lidah kita semasa ajal hampir tiba.... maka
kita tidak dapat mengucapkan kalimah lailahaillallah... yang mana sesiapa yg dapat mengucapkan kalimah ini ketika
nyawanya dicabut...Allah menjanjikan syurga untuknya.

Dari itu marilah kita sama-sama menghormati azan dan mohon kepada Allah supaya lidah ini tidak kelu walaupun
nyawa sedang dicabut. "Ya...Allah, anugerahkanlah kematian kami dengan kematian yang baik lagi mulia, lancarkan
lidah kami mengucap kalimah Laillahaillallah......semasa sakaratul maut menghampiri kami...."

13 Wasiat Rasulullah Kepada Saidina Ali s.a. - oleh TAZKIRAH

RASULULLAH SAW ada menyampaikan pesanan dan wasiat kepada isteri, anak, kaum kerabat dan
umat Islam seluruhnya. Namun antara wasiat yang menarik dan boleh dijadikan bahan renungan
bersama ialah wasiatnya kepada menantu baginda, Saidina Ali Abu Talib.

Sungguhpun wasiat itu khusus kepada Ali, namun kita sebagai Muslim dan muslimah, perlu
menjadikannya sebagai iktibar lalu menjadikannya amalan.

Larangan dan suruhan Rasulullah saw melalui wasiat itu, adalah juga untuk kaum Muslimin
dan muslimat. Malah, boleh dikatakan semua perkara dalam wasiat itu adalah ciri-ciri utama orang
beriman.

Berikut adalah antara wasiat Nabi kepada Ali seperti yang diriwayatkan oleh Ibnu Abbas:

Ibnu Abbas meriwayatkan, bahawa Ali Abu Talib berkata: "Pada hari perkahwinan dengan Fatimah,
Rasulullah saw bersabda kepadaku, mengutarakan tiga belas wasiat khusus untukku:"

1. Wahai Ali, takutilah engkau daripada memasuki tempat mandi (hammam) tanpa memakai
kain separas pinggang. Bahawasanya barang siapa memasuki tempat mandi tanpa kain
separas pinggang, maka dia mendapat laknat (mal'un).

2. Wahai Ali, janganlah engkau ‘memakai cincin di jari telunjuk dan di jari tengah'. Sesungguhnya
itu adalah apa yang dilakukan oleh kaum Lut.

3. Wahai Ali, sesungguhnya Allah mengagumi hamba-Nya yang melafazkan istighfar:
"Rabighfirli fainnahu la yaghfirul-zunuba illa Anta" ( Tuhanku, ampunilah aku. Sesungguhnya
tiada yang mengampunkan dosa melainkan Engkau). Allah lalu berfirman: "Hai malaikat-Ku,
sesungguhnya hamba-Ku ini mengetahui bahawasanya tiada yang mengampunkan dosa melainkan
Aku. Hai malaikat-Ku: Jadilah saksi, bahawasanya aku telah mengampuni dia".

4. Wahai Ali, takutilah engkau daripada berdusta. Bahawasanya berdusta itu menghitamkan muka
dan disuratkan oleh Allah sebagai kazzab (pendusta). Dan, bahawasanya benar itu memutihkan
muka dan disuratkan oleh Allah sebagai sadiq. Ketahuilah engkau, bahawasanya sidq (benar) itu
berkat dan kizb (dusta) itu celaka.

5. Wahai Ali, peliharalah diri engkau daripada mengumpat dan mengadu-dumba. Bahawasanya orang
berbuat demikian itu diwajibkan ke atasnya seksaan kubur dan menjadi penghalang kepadanya di
pintu syurga.

6. Wahai Ali, janganlah engkau bersumpah dengan nama Allah, sama ada dusta atau benar, kecuali
dalam keadaan darurat, dan janganlah jadikan Allah permainan sumpah engkau. Sesungguhnya Allah
tidak menyucikan dan tidak mengasihani orang yang bersumpah dusta dengan nama-Nya.

7. Wahai Ali, janganlah engkau mencita-citakan rezeki untuk hari esok. Bahawasanya Allah
mendatangkan rezeki engkau setiap hari.

8. Wahai Ali, takutilah engkau daripada berbantah-bantah dan berkelahi dengan maki-hamun dan
sumpah-seranah. Bahawasanya perbuatan itu pada awalnya jahil dan pada akhirnya penyesalan.

9. Wahai Ali, sentiasalah engkau bersugi dan mencolek (mencungkil) gigi. Bahawasanya bersugi itu
menyucikan mulut, mencerahkan mata dan diredai Allah, manakala mencolek gigi itu dikasihi malaikat
kerana malaikat amat tidak senang dengan bau mulut kerana sisa-sisa makanan di celah gigi tidak
dicolek selepas makan.

10. Wahai Ali, janganlah engkau melayani rasa marah.Apabila timbul rasa marah, duduklah engkau
dan fikirkanlah mengenai kekuasaan dan kesabaran Allah Taala ke atas hamba-Nya. Pertahankah
diri engkau daripada dikuasai kemarahan dan kembalilah engkau kepada kesabaran.

11. Wahai Ali, perhitungkanlah (tahassub) kurniaan Allah yang telah engkau nafkahkan untuk diri
engkau dan keluarga engkau, nescaya engkau peroleh peruntukan daripada Allah.

12. Wahai Ali, apa yang engkau benci pada diri engkau, maka engkau bencikan juga pada diri
saudara engkau dan apa yang engkau kasih pada diri engkau maka engkau kasihkan juga pada diri
saudara engkau, yakni engkau hendaklah berlaku adil dalam memberi hukuman. Dengan itu, engkau
dikasihi seluruh isi langit dan bumi.

13. Wahai Ali, perbaikkanlah perhubungan di antara penduduk (jiran) sekampung dan antara ahli
rumah engkau. Hiduplah dengan mereka sekaliannya dengan rasa persahabatan dan kekeluargaan,
nescaya disuratkan darjat yang tinggi bagi engkau.

Wahai Ali, peliharakanlah pesananku (wasiatku). Engkau akan peroleh kemenangan dan kelepasan.
InsyaAllah

Islam pada awalnya asing dan akan kembali terasing, maka berbahagialah kiranya bagi yang terasing.

The Crispiest Waffle
1 tsp. instant yeast (Not to be confused with active dry yeast. Make sure it says "Instant")
2-1/4 cups flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter, melted, then cooled
2 cups warm whole milk (about 110 degrees)
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs, separated

The night before you want yummy waffles:Stir together the dry ingredients: flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Stir the melted butter into the dry ingredients. Stir in the warm milk and vanilla until combined. Cover with plastic wrap (or my favorite, Press 'n Seal, yeah!). Leave overnight out on the counter.The morning you'll eat the yummy waffles:The batter should look frothy. Heat waffle iron as you usually do. Add the egg yolks to the batter. THE LAST KHUTBAH OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW

Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) delivered his last sermon (Khutbah) on the ninth of Dhul Hijjah (12^th and last month of the Islamic year), 10 years after Hijrah (migration from Makkah to Madinah) in the Uranah Valley of mount Arafat. His words were quite clear and concise and were directed to the entire humanity.

After praising, and thanking Allah he said:

"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn ‘Abd’al Muttalib (Prophet’s uncle) shall henceforth be waived…

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, NO PROPHET OR APOSTLE WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the QURAN and my example, the SUNNAH and if you follow these you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people".

=> Einstein was among the first who explored at length the concept of
relativity of time. The Quran states: "...A day with your Lord is
equivalent to a thousand years in the way you count. (The Qur'an,
22:47)". Also "The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a day
whose length is fifty thousand years." (The Qur'an, 70:4)"

=> The process of formation of rain through winds over water is a
phenomenon only scientifically discovered. However Quran mentioned
it hundreds of years ago in the verse: "It is God Who sends the
winds which stir up clouds which He spreads about the sky however
He wills. He forms them into dark clumps and you see the rain come
pouring out from the middle of them. When He makes it fall on those
of His slaves He wills, they rejoice (The Qur'an, 30:48)"

How Is Al-Quran Been Protected

This promise from Allah Almighty to protect the Qur’an is very important for us as Muslims in order to have confidence in the source of all our knowledge about Islam, the Qur’an. As you know, people before Islam had received messages from Allah (many, some of those were the Torah, the sabur, and the Injeel), which they eventually corrupted with changes, additions, and deletions.

The difference between Islam and the religions before Islam, including heavenly religions, is in who was assigned with the protection of the message. In Islam, Allah entrusted Himself with the protection of the Qur’an; whereas, before, only humans were entrusted to the protection of the divine Scriptures and Humans changes it for their benefits.
The Qur’an says what means:

“ It was We who revealed the law [to Moses]: therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed [as in Islam] to Allah's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear Me, and sell not My signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by [the light of] what Allah hath revealed, they are [no better than] unbelievers. “ (Al-Ma’idah 5:44)

So Allah is the Trustee of the Qur’an, He is protecting it from any corruptions

Some Hadith About Women Going To Masjid

Some hadith about women going to masjid are as follows :

1. Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 12 :: Hadith 824 Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet said, "If your women ask permission to go to the Masjid at night, allow them."

2. Bukhari :: Book 2 :: Volume 13 :: Hadith 23 Narrated Ibn Umar: One of the wives of Umar (bin Al-Khattab) used to offer the Fajr and the 'Isha' prayer in congregation in the Masjid. She was asked why she had come out for the prayer as she knew that Umar disliked it, and he has great ghaira (self-respect). She replied, "What prevents him from stopping me from this act?" The other replied, "The statement of Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) : 'Do not stop Allah's women-slave from going to Allah s Masjids' prevents him."

3. Muslim :: Book 4 : Hadith 884 Salim narrated it from his father ('Abdullah b. Umar) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When women ask permission for going to the Masjid, do not prevent them.

4. Muslim :: Book 4 : Hadith 881 Abu Huraira said: The best rows for men are the first rows, and the worst ones the last ones, and the best rows for women are the last ones and the worst ones for them are the first ones.

It is recommend by Prophet Muhammad (sws) to Men to have in first row after men completed the rows, then Female will stand. It is better to have separate place for women in Masjid, which is encouraged.

Allah says: "O you who believe, follow not the footsteps of the devil" (24:21). Songs with music, are the “recitation” of Shaytaan..Shaytaan, the enemy of Allah makes music and musical instruments attractive to the wrongdoers, and if it comes from a beautiful lady or a handsome guy, than it is likely to make his “recitation” more attractive to them, thereby replacing the joy of the Glorious Qur’an with the joy of listening to music.

Music is haraam, there are no two views on this matter. It makes hypocrisy grow in the heart just as water makes crops grow. Allah says: “And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing) to mislead men from the path of Allah…” [Luqmaan 31:6]

Listening to music is Fisq (rebellion, evildoing) and enjoying it is kufr (disbelief). The Prophet (saws) said: “Among my ummah there will certainly be people who permit zinaa, silk, alcohol and musical instruments...Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them and transform them into monkeys and pigs, who will remain so till the day of resurrection.." (al-Bukhaari - no. 5590).

Music is even worse when the lyrics speak of love and describe physical beauty. Well yes, music is way more intoxicating than khamr! The fact that Music is everywhere nowadays is the difficult part..so avoiding it, would take a great deal of determination..but in the end its worth our efforts, right!

May Allah strengthen our hearts & help us keep away from those actions that displease Him, aameen..

Let's Learn How To Concentrate In Salah

Al Qaasim ibn Muhammad rahimahullah said, “I went out one day, and whenever I would go out I would always pass by Aisha radi Allahu anha and give her my salaam. That day I went out and when I found Aisha she was praying Salat al-Duha, reciting over and over the verse of Allah:

Aforetime we were afraid with our families (from the Punishment of Allah). / But Allah was gracious on us and saved us from the torment of the Fire (Surah : At-Toor Ayat : 26-27).

She was crying and invoking Allah subhaanahu wa ta ‘aala and repeating the verse. I stood there waiting until I got tired, whilst she remained as I found her. When I saw this I said to myself, ‘Let me go to the market, do what I have to do, and come back.’ So, after I had finished what I needed to do at the market, I returned to Aisha radi Allahu anha. She was as I left her, repeating the verse, invoking Allah, and crying.”

How do we concentrate in salah? From the Sunnah of the Prophet sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam we are taught the following:

1. Come early for salah and prepare yourself to concentrate.
Repeat the adhan to yourself with the mu’adhdhin and after the adhan, say the prescribed supplication. Between the adhan and iqamah make du’a. Do wudu properly, cleansing your mouth, and wear your finest clothes.

2. Aim to get the entire reward of your salah.
Abu Bakr ibn ‘Iyaash said, “I saw Habeeb ibn Thabit in sujood. If you saw him you would think he was dead (by how long he held his sujood).”

3. Contemplate the aayaat and adhkaar being recited during the prayer.
Think about the meanings of the verses that you are reciting. Isn’t is disheartening that someone may perform salah for decades, day after day, and he still does not know what he is saying? The Qur’an was revealed to be pondered over! Allah revealed:

(This is) a Book (the Qur’an), which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its verses, and that men of understanding may remember (Surah : As-Saad Aya: 29).

4. Pray in congregation. Allah subhaanahu wa ta’aala commands:

And perform salah, give zakah, and bow with those that bow (Surah : Al-Baqarah Aya: 43).

5. Never miss your Nafl (supererogatory) Prayers, especially those that the Prophet sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam used to pray constantly, like Witr and the Sunnah of Fajr.

6. Do not rush your salah : Take your time and do not allow your salah to become the most invaluable action of your day. Ibn Wahb said, “I saw Ath-Thowree at the Ka’bah. After Maghrib, he got up to pray and then prostrated. He did not come out of that prostration until the adhan for Isha’ was given.”

7. Know that Allah responds to your prayer. The Prophet (sws) said:

“Allah, the Blessed and Exalted has said: ‘I have divided the prayer between Myself and My slave, into two halves, and My slave shall have what he has asked for.’ [From Surah Fatiha] When the slave says, ‘Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds,’ Allah says, ‘My slave has praised Me.’ When the slave says, ‘The Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy,’ Allah says, ‘My slave has extolled me.’ When the slave says, ‘Master of the Day of Judgement,’ Allah says, ‘My slave has glorified me.’ When the slave says, ‘It is You alone we worship and it is You alone we ask for help,’ Allah says, ‘This is between Me and My slave, and My slave shall have what he asked for.’ When the slave says, ‘Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom You have favoured, not the path of those who receive Your anger, nor of those who go astray,’ Allah says, ‘All these are for My slave, and My slave shall have what he asked for’" (Muslim).

8. Pray with a barrier (sutrah) in front of you and pray close to it.
Another thing that will help you to have khushoo’ (concentration) is paying attention to the matter of having a sutrah and praying close to it. Having a sutrah will restrict your field of vision, protect you from the Shaytaan, and keep people from passing in front of you, which causes distraction and reduces the reward of the prayer. The Prophet sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam said:

“When any one of you prays, let him pray facing a sutrah, and let him get close to it” (Abu Dawood).

9. Seek refuge in Allah from the Shaytaan : The Prophet(sws) taught us how to combat the whispers of Shaytaan. Abu’l-‘Aas radi Allahu anhu reported that he said, “O Messenger of Allaah, the Shaytaan interrupts me when I pray, and I get confused in my recitation.” The Messenger (sws) said, “That is a shaytaan whose name is Khanzab. If you sense his presence, seek refuge with Allah from him, and spit [dry] towards your left three times.” Abu’l-‘Aas rahi Allahu anhu said, “I did that and Allah took him away from me” (Muslim).

10. Pray as if you were told that after salah you would be going back to Allah. Abu Bakr Al-Muzanee said, “If you want your salah to benefit you, then say, ‘I shall die after this Salah!’

The Obligation Of A Wife Obeying A Husband ......

It is obligatory on you O Muslim woman to obey your husband in matters of good. Abu Hurairah reported that Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “If a woman prays her five (daily) prayers and keeps her private parts chaste and obeys her husband, she will enter Paradise from any of the doors of Paradise she wishes.” [Reported by Ibn Hibbaan in his Saheeh] From Abu Hurairah (radyAllaahu ‘anhu), Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “It is not lawful for a woman to fast while her husband is present unless she has his permission. And she must not allow anyone in his home except with his permission.” [Reported by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim] Also from Abu Hurairah (radyAllaahu ‘anhu), Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “When a man calls his wife to bed and she does not come to him, and he spends the night angry with her, the angels curse her until the morning arrives.” [Reported by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim] And in the report of Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim, the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “By the One in whose Hand my soul is, there is no man that calls his wife to bed and she refuses him, except that the One who is above the heavens is displeased with her until he (the husband) becomes content with her.” From the rights the husband possesses over his wife is that she fulfills the duty of tending to his household and not coming out from it except with his permission. The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “The woman is the caretaker of her husband’s household and she will be questioned as to her responsibility.” [Reported by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim] Another right he possesses over her is that she fulfills the duties of the household and that she does not make him hire a female servant, which will cause harm and due to which there will be a risk of danger for himself and his children. Shaikh-ul-Islaam Ibn Taimiyyah (rahimahullaah) said commenting on Allaah’s saying: “Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient and guard in the husband’s absence what Allaah orders them to guard (i.e. their chastity).” [Surah An-Nisaa: 34]: “This mandates the unrestricted obligation of a woman obeying her husband, in all affairs, such as serving him, traveling with him, assisting him and other matters, as is indicated in the Sunnah of Allaah’s Messenger.” [1] The great scholar, Ibn Al-Qayyim, said: “Those who say that it is obligatory for the woman to serve the husband use (this ayah) as proof in that those who Allaah directed His Speech to (on this occasion) considered this to be from al-ma’roof (good). But as for the woman relaxing and having the husband serve her, sweep, grind the flour, knead the bread, wash the clothes, fix the bed, and serve the household, then that is from al-munkar (evil). And Allaah says: ‘And they (women) have rights (over their husbands) similar to those (of their husbands) over them.’ [Surah Al-Baqarah: 228] And Allaah says: ‘Men are the protectors and maintainers over women.’ [Surah An-Nisaa: 34] So if a woman doesn’t serve her husband, but instead he acts like a servant to her, then this means that she is the protector and maintainer over him.” He further said: “For indeed Allaah obligated him to spend on her, to clothe her and to provide her with a place of dwelling in exchange for his enjoying her and her serving him, as well as what the habits of the spouses call for. Likewise, the binding marriage agreements require that the spouses live in kindness. And kindness means a woman’s serving (her husband) and taking care of the inner affairs of the household.” And he said: “And there is no difference as to whether the woman is prestigious or lowly, or if she is poor or rich. Just look at this woman who was the most prestigious of women in the world…” [2] He is referring to Faatimah (radyAllaahu ‘anhaa) for she would serve her husband and come to the Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) complaining to him, but he would not complain about her.

This was a letter sisters on 'The Muslim Dilemia' show recieved from sister Umm Taqi in Gaza.

Asaalam Alykum,

My dear sisters and brothers I wanted to take this opportunity to send you a message from the sisters in Gaza . Please hear our situation and tell everyone that you know and dont know.

Our situation is dire but our eman is strong alhamdulillah, even though we have no water to speak of, and when we do it is polluted and we have no money to buy mineral water. When we find the money those that sell it say that it is too dangerous for them to travel out to get new supplies. We have no gas, and have not had for the last four months. We cook the little food we have on real fires that we have learned to prepare.

Our men have lost all of their jobs. They spend their days at home now. My husband can spend a day just going from place to place just for the basic need of water. He usually returns empty handed. There are no schools, no banks, hardly any hospitals open. You are constantly aware that you risk your life when you go out and when you are indoors. They give us a curfew between 1-4pm. We can go out, they say, in safety to get your supplies, but that is a lie. They have ofetn used that opportnity to add more shuhada to their list.

We eat one day rice and one day bread. Meat and milk are a luxury. They are using chemical warfare in the areas which are on the borders.

All this and we are being told that people demonstrate all over the world. Masha Allah. the fact that you go to embassies and leave your homes makes us feel truely that we are not alone in our struggle.

But you go home at night and lock your door. We cannot do that. I have to leave my home on the second floor every night and stay with my sister on the ground floor. Should there be an attack, it's quicker to leave from the ground floor.

Yes we are tired. When we hear rockets and bombs and see planes that fly too close to our building, I scream with my young son and my husband feels helpless.

In all this there is no one but Allah (swt) that can save us. But the ummah is asking where are the armies, where is the victory. Dont forget us because you are all that we have now. Your kind sadeqat is not reaching us, and when they open borders it only reaches a few. Keep up the work of Allah and pray that th victory will come soon insha Allah.

IMAN SEMUT...

Di zaman Nabi Allah Sulaiman berlaku satu peristiwa, apabila Nabi
Allah Sulaiman nampak seekor semut melata di atas batu; lantas Nabi
Allah Sulaiman merasa hairan bagaimana semut ini hendak hidup di atas
batu yang kering di tengah-tengah padang pasir yang tandus. Nabi
Allah Sulaiman pun bertanya kepada semut : "Wahai semut apakah engkau
yakin ada makanan cukup untuk kamu".Semut pun menjawab :
"Rezeki di tangan ALLAH, aku percaya rezeki di tangan ALLAH, aku
yakin di atas batu kering di padang pasir yang tandus ini ada rezeki
untuk ku".

Lantas Nabi Allah Sulaiman pun bertanya : "Wahai semut, berapa
banyakkah engkau makan? Apakah yang engkau gemar makan? Dan banyak
mana engkau makan dalam sebulan?"Jawab semut: "Aku makan hanya
sekadar sebiji gandum sebulan". Nabi Allah Sulaiman pun mencadangkan
: "Kalau kamu makan hanya sebiji gandum sebulan tak payah kamu melata
di atas batu, aku boleh tolong".

Nabi Allah Sulaiman pun mengambil satu bekas, dia angkat semut itu
dan dimasukkan ke dalam bekas; kemudian Nabi ambil gandum sebiji,
dibubuh dalam bekas dan tutup bekas itu. Kemudian Nabi tinggal semut
didalam bekas dengan sebiji gandum selama satu bulan.

Bila cukup satu bulan Nabi Allah Sulaiman lihat gandum sebiji tadi
hanya dimakan setengah sahaja oleh semut, lantas Nabi Allah Sulaiman
menemplak semut : "Kamu rupanya berbohong pada aku!. Bulan lalu kamu
kata kamu makan sebiji gandum sebulan, ini sudah sebulan tapi kamu
makan setengah".Jawab semut : "Aku tidak berbohong, aku tidak
berbohong, kalau aku ada di atas batu aku pasti makan apapun sehingga
banyaknya sama seperti sebiji gandum sebulan, kerana makanan itu aku
cari sendiri dan rezeki itu datangnya daripada Allah dan Allah tidak
pernah lupa padaku. Tetapi bila kamu masukkan aku dalam bekas yang
tertutup, rezeki aku bergantung pada kamu dan aku tak percaya kepada
kamu, sebab itulah aku makan setengah sahaja supaya tahan dua bulan.
Aku takut kamu lupa".

Itulah Iman Semut!!

IMAN MANUSIA??

Di zaman Imam Suffian, ada seorang hamba Allah yang kerjanya mengorek
kubur orang mati. Kerja korek kubur orang mati bukan kerja orang
ganjil. Bila ada orang mati, mayat terpaksa ditanam, oleh itu kubur
perlu digali dulu. Tetapi yang ganjil mengenai hamba Allah ini ialah
dia tidak gali kubur untuk tanam mayat.

Sebaliknya apabila orang mati sudah ditanam, waris sudah lama balik
ke rumah dan Munkar Nakir sudah menyoal, barulah penggali ini datang
ke kubur untuk korek balik. Dia nak tengok macam mana rupa mayat
setelah di INTERVIEW oleh Munkar Nakir. Dia korek 1 kubur, 2 kubur, 3
kubur, 10 kubur, 50 kubur sampai 100 kubur.Lepas itu, penggali pergi
kepada Imam Suffian dan bertanya kepadanya : "Ya Imam, kenapakah
daripada 100 kubur orang Islam yang aku gali, dua sahaja yang mana
mayat di dalamnya masih berhadap kiblat. Yang 98 lagi sudah beralih
ke belakang?".

Jawab Imam Suffian : " Diakhir zaman hanya 2 dari 100 umat Islam yang
percaya rezeki itu di tangan Allah. 98 orang lagi tidak percaya
bahawa rezeki di tangan Tuhan".

Itulah sebabnya apabila umat Islam tertekan dengan SOGOKAN duit yang
banyak, biasanya, iman dia akan beralih. Nyatalah iman semut lebih
kuat dari iman manusia.

Salam, mungkin dah pernah baca kisah ini.....tapi tak salah kalau dibaca sekali lagi !

AIRMATA RASULULLAH SAW...

Tiba-tiba dari luar pintu terdengar seorang yang berseru mengucapkan
salam. "Bolehkah saya masuk?" tanyanya. Tapi Fatimah tidak
mengizinkannya
masuk, "Maafkanlah, ayahku sedang demam", kata Fatimah yang
membalikkan badan dan menutup pintu.

Kemudian ia kembali menemani ayahnya yang ternyata sudah membuka mata
dan bertanya pada Fatimah , "Siapakah itu wahai anakku?"
"Tak tahulah ayahku, orang sepertinya baru sekali ini aku
melihatnya," tutur Fatimah lembut. Lalu, Rasulullah menatap puterinya
itu dengan
pandangan yang menggetarkan.

Seolah-olah bahagian demi! bahagian wajah anaknya itu hendak
dikenang.

"Ketahuilah, dialah yang menghapuskan kenikmatan sementara, dialah
yang memisahkan pertemuan di dunia.
Dialah malaikatul maut," kata Rasulullah, Fatimah pun menahan
ledakkan tangisnya. Malaikat maut datang menghampiri, tapi Rasulullah
menanyakan
kenapa Jibril tidak ikut sama menyertainya.

Kemudian dipanggilah Jibril yang sebelumnya sudah bersiap di atas
langit dunia menyambut ruh kekasih Allah dan penghulu dunia ini.

"Jibril, jelaskan apa hakku nanti di hadapan Allah?", tanya
Rasululllah dengan suara yang amat lemah.
"Pintu-pintu langit telah terbuka, para malaikat telah menanti ruhmu.
"Semua syurga terbuka lebar menanti kedatanganmu, " kata Jibril.
Tapi itu ternyata tidak membuatkan Rasulullah lega, matanya masih
penuh kecemasan. "Engkau tidak senang mendengar khabar ini?", tanya
Jibril lagi.
"Khabarkan kepadaku bagaimana nasib umatku kelak?"
"Jangan khawatir, wahai Rasul ! Allah, aku pernah mendengar Allah
berfirman kepadaku: "Kuharamkan syurga bagi siapa saja, kecuali umat
Muhammad telah berada di dalamnya," kata Jibril.
Detik-detik semakin dekat, saatnya Izrail melakukan tugas. Perlahan
ruh Rasulullah ditarik.

Nampak seluruh tubuh Rasulullah bersimbah peluh, urat-urat lehernya
menegang. "Jibril, betapa sakit sakaratul maut ini."
Perlahan Rasulullah mengaduh. Fatimah terpejam, Ali yang disampingnya
menunduk semakin dalam dan Jibril memalingkan muka.

"Jijikkah kau melihatku, hingga kau palingkan wajahmu Jibril?"
Tanya Rasulullah pada Malaikat pengantar wahyu itu.
"Siapakah yang sanggup, melihat kekasih Allah direnggut ajal," kata
Jibril.
Sebentar kemudian terdengar Rasulullah mengaduh, karena sakit yang
tidak tertahankan lagi.

"Ya Allah, dahsyat nian maut ini, timpakan saja semua siksa maut ini
kepadaku, jangan pada umatku."
Badan Rasulullah mulai dingin, kaki dan dadanya sudah tidak bergerak
lagi.
Bibirnya bergetar seakan hendak membisikkan sesuatu, ! Ali segera
mendekatkan telinganya. "Uushiikum bis shalati, wa maa malakat
aimanuku"
"peliharalah shalat dan peliharalah orang-orang lemah di antaramu."

Diluar pintu tangis mulai terdengar bersahutan, sahabat saling
berpelukan.
Fatimah menutupkan tangan di wajahnya, dan Ali kembali mendekatkan
telinganya ke bibir Rasulullah yang mulai kebiruan.

"Ummatii,ummatii, ummatiii? " - "Umatku, umatku, umatku"
Dan, berakhirlah hidup manusia mulia yang memberi sinaran itu.
Kini, mampukah kita mencintai sepertinya?
Allahumma sholli 'ala Muhammad wa baarik wa salim 'alaihi

Betapa cintanya Rasulullah kepada kita.

Kirimkan kepada sahabat-sahabat muslim lainnya agar timbul kesadaran
untuk mengingat maut dan mencintai Allah dan RasulNya, seperti Allah
dan Rasulnya mencintai kita.

Muar

The historical town of Muar, located on the Muar River, is a favourite stopover for travellers of Johor Bahru-Kuala Lumpur as Muar provides beautiful sunsets The strategic location of Muar on the river helped on its economical growth as many years ago, Muar was once an important trading hub.

There are many different opinions to where the name 'Muar' is reputed from. Some say that the town was named after the name 'muara', which means river mouth. Another says that the name is derived from a the Hindu word for three, which is 'muna' and 'ar' which means river. Also it was said that the town was named after the three rivers, Muar River, Pahang RIver and Serting River.

Muar, which is also known as Bandar Maharani or Empress Town, has a striking resemblance to the town of Malacca, historically, culturally and geographically. The name was given by Sultan Abu Bakar in 1884.

Muar is famous for its 'Ghazal' music, which originated from Persia, and 'Kuda Kepan', a traditional dance where dancers sit astride mock horses according to the beat and rhythm of a percussion ensemble.

Visitors should not forget to try Muar's all famous "Mee Bandung Muar". Even looking at it is enough to get your stomach grumble for food immediately! Also recommended are the oysters here, scrambled with eggs and chives.

2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal &blend in blenderto a fine powder)
24 oz. chocolate chips1 tsp. salt18 oz. Cadbury bar (grated)
4 eggs2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
2 tsp. vanilla

cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs andvanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt,baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips,Cadbury bar and nuts. Roll into balls and placetwo inches apart on a cookie sheet.. bake for 10minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 122 cookies..

Allah hanya memanggil kita 3 kali saja seumur hidup

Renung-renungkan dan selamat beramal....Saat itu, Dhuha, hari terakhir aku di Masjid Nabawi untuk menujuMekah....... .aku bertanya pada Ibu.'Ibu, kataku, ada cerita apa yang menarik dari Umrah....?' Maklum, inipertama kali aku ber Umrah.Dan Ibu, memberikan Tausyiahnya.Ibu adalah pemilik Maknah Tour Travel dimana saya bergabung untuk Umrah dibulan July 2007 yang lalu.Kebetulan umrahku dimulai di Madinah dulu selama 4 hari, baru ke Mekah.Tujuannya adalah mendapatkan saat Malam Jumat di depan Kabah. Jadi akupunya kesempatan untuk bertanya tentang Umrah.Ibu berkata...'Shinta, Allah hanya memanggil kita 3 kali saja seumurhidup..'
Keningku berkerut.... ....'Sedikit sekali Allah memanggil kita..?'Ibu tersenyum.. 'Iya, tahu tidak apa saja 3 panggilan itu..?'Saya menggelengkan kepala.
'Panggilan pertama adalah Azan', ujar Ibu.'Itu adalah panggilan Allah yang pertama. Panggilan ini sangat jelasterdengar di telinga kita, sangat kuat terdengar. Ketika kita sholat,sesungguhnya kita menjawab panggilan Allah. Tetapi Allah masih fleksibel,Dia tidak 'cepat marah' akan sikap kita. Kadang kita terlambat, bahkantidak sholat sama sekali karena malas... Allah tidak marah seketika. Diamasih memberikan rahmatNya, masih memberikan kebahagiaan bagi umatNya, baikumatNya itu menjawab panggilan Azan-Nya atau tidak. Allah hanya akanmembalas umatNya ketika hari Kiamat nanti'.
Saya terpekur.... .mata saya berkaca-kaca. Terbayang saya masih melambatkansholat karena meeting lah, mengajar lah, dan lain lain. MasyaAllah....... ..
Ibu melanjutkan, 'Shinta, Panggilan yang kedua adalah panggilan Umrah/Haji.Panggilan ini bersifat halus. Allah memanggil hamba-hambaNya denganpanggilan yang halus dan sifatnya 'bergiliran' . Hamba yang satumendapatkankesempatan yang berbeza dengan hamba yang lain. J alan nya bermacam-macam.Yang tidak punya wang menjadi punya wang, yang tidak merancang pula akanpergi, ada yang memang merancang dan terkabul. Ketika kita mengambil niatHaji / Umrah, berpakaian Ihram dan melafazkan 'Labaik Allahuma Labaik/Umrotan', sesungguhnya kita saat itu menjawab panggilan Allah yang ke dua.Saat itu kita merasa bahagia, karena panggilan Allah sudah kita jawab,meskipun panggilan itu halus sekali. Allah berkata, laksanakan Haji / Umrahbagi yang mampu'.
Mata saya semakin berkaca-kaca. ........Subhanal lah...... .saya datangmenjawab panggilan Allah lebih cepat dari yang sayarancangkan.. ......Alhamdulill ah...
'Dan panggilan ke-3', lanjut Ibu, 'adalah KEMATIAN. Panggilan yang kitajawab dengan amal kita. Pada kebanyakan kasus, Allah tidak memberikan tandatanda secara langsung, dan kita tidak mampu menjawab dengan lisan dangerakan. Kita hanya menjawabnya dengan amal sholeh. Karena itu Shinta,manfaatkan waktumu sebaik-baiknya. ..Jawablah 3 panggilan Allah denganhatimu dan sikap yang Husnul Khotimah.... .......Insya Allah syurga adalahbalasannya.. ....'** Mata saya basah di dalam Masjid Nabawi , saya sujud bertaubat pada Allahkarena kelalaian saya dalam menjawab panggilanNya. ....Kala itu hati saya makin yakin akan kebesaranNya, kasih sayangNya dandengan semangat menyala-nyala, saya mengenakan baju Ihram danberniat..... .....Aku menjawab panggilan UmrahMu, ya Allah, Tuhan Semesta Alam........ ....**HuraisyPada hari kiamat akan keluar seekor binatang dari neraka jahanam yangbernama 'Huraisy' berasal dari anak kala jengking. Besarnya Huraisy inidari timur hingga ke barat. Panjangnya pula seperti jarak langit dan bumi.Malaikat Jibril bertanya : 'Hai Huraisy! Engkau hendak ke mana dan siapayang kau cari?' Huraisy pun menjawab, 'Aku mahu mencari lima orang.'
'Pertama, orang yang meninggalkan sembahyang.Kedua, orang yang tidak mahu keluarkan zakat.Ketiga, orang yang derhaka kepada ibubapanya.Keempat, orang yang bercakap tentang dunia di dalam masjid.Kelima, orang yang suka minum arak.'kesal saya dgn sikap buruk sangka saya terhadap org lain dan sikap tidaktahu berterima kasih dgn kawan yg sentiasa berlapang dada.....
..sampaikan pesanan ini biarpn 1 ayat.. Wallahualam

BERAMAL DENGAN 3 PERKARA

Pada zaman Nabi Isa a.s. ada seorang wanita yang sangat kuat imannya. Pernah terjadi ketika ia sedang membakar roti tiba-tiba terdengar suara azan lalu dengan serta merta ia meninggalkan roti itu dan segera beredar ke masjid. Pada masa ia sedang solat itu datanglah syaitan membisikkan padanya, "Saudaraku! rotimu telah hangus, kamu sudah tidak ada makanan lagi." Jawab wanita ini, "Tuhan yang aku sembah lebih baik dari roti yang aku bakar." Syaitan berasa keewa kerana usahanya tidak berhasil.

Selepas solat wanita ini meletakkan pula anaknya ditempat pembakaran roti. Hal ini dilihat oleh suaminya sendiri lalu mendapatkan Nabi Isa dan diceritakan segalanya. Nabi Isa yang datang dengan sendirinya menyaksikan hal ini juga berasa hairan melihatkan anak-anak itu bermain dengan bara api. Bara api itu kemudiannya berubah pula menjadi batu permata yang indah. Nabi Isa lalu memerintahkan orang memanggil wanita ini datang mengadapnya. Berkatalah Nabi Isa, "Wahai hamba Allah, apakah amalanmu sehingga kamu mendapat kemuliaan ini?"

Jawab wanita, "Wahai nabi Allah, aku sentiasa beramal dengan 3 perkara dan aku jaga 3 perkara. Apa yang aku beramal ialah, aku sentiasa menziarahi orang mati, apabila ada diantara orang-orang yang hadir iu menyebut keburukan simati maka aku cela orang itu dan sekiranya ada yang datang memimta bantuanku, jika aku berkuasa insya'Allah aku akan menolngnya semata-mata mengharapkan keredan Allah. Hanya itulah saja amalanku.

ALI BERJUAL BELI DENGAN MALAIKAT

Suatu masa ketika Ali pulang dari menziarah, ia terus ke dapur dan bertanya kepada Fatimah makanan apakah yang telah disediakan untuknya. Jawab Fatimah, "Wahai suamiku! aku tidak mempunyai sesuatu apapun untuk dihidangkan, tetapi aku ada memiliki wang 6 dirham yang ku simpan buat membeli makanan Hassan dan Hussain." Ali pun meminta wang itu untuk dibelikan makanan anaknya. Dalam perjalanannya ke kedai ia terserempak dengan lelaki yang berkata, "Siapa yang hendak meminjamkan kepada Allah dengan pinjaman yang baik." Mendengarkan perkataan itu, Ali terus memberikan wangnya lalu pulang ke rumah.

Apa yang berlaku diceritakan kepada Fatimah yang mendengarnya dengan ridha sungguhpun mereka sendiri sedang kelaparan. Setelah itu Ali pun keluar untuk ke rumah Rasulullah. Di pertengahan jalan ia telah disapa oleh seorang lelaki,"Wahai Ali, belilah unta ini." Kerana menyedari Ali tidak memilikki apa-apa maka orang itu pun berkata,"Engkau ambillah dahulu unta ini dengan harga 100 dirham dan wangnya engkau serahlah kemudian." Setelah membelinya, tiba-tiba datang pula seorang lelaki lain lalu menyapa, "Wahai Ali! engkau juallah unta itu kepadaku." Jawab Ali, "Ya! memang aku mahu menjualnya dengan harga 300 dirham."

Lelaki itu pun bersetuju lalu dibayarnya secara tunai. Setelah itu barulah Ali pergi berjumpa dengan Rasulullah, kata Rasulullah,"Tahukah kamu, siapakah yang menjual dan membeli unta kamu itu?," Jawab Ali, "Allah dan Rasulnya lebih mengetahui." Kata Rasulullah, "Wahai Ali! kamu sungguh beruntung, pinjaman kamu kepada Allah cuma 6 dirham, tetapi Allah telah membalasnya dengan 300 dirham. Lelaki yang menjual unta itu tadi adalah Jibrail a.s. dan lelaki yang yang membelinya pula adalah Israfil a.s. "
